Yeah, but take that down to pvp standards, damage is 1/5 and then assuming that they have 75 fire res. (which they should if they're even half decent) that's another 1/4. That quickly gets cut down to a not so great 700 damage, and if they are sorbing you really can't do anything at all. I'm sure you already knew all of that, but I just thought I'd point out the flaws of a fire claw druid lol...

Cheapest socketing for a War scythe would be just Shaels ... you can reach max fps also with some shaels and -req jewel which can have nice adds like AR

When I first saw this vid, it was astounding, because a FireClaw WerBear is really something that's doesn't appear in every game, like for example Hammerdins or Fire Sorcs. I made one exactly like this one, no it was even better and it was really disappointing that they just are'nt able to hit anything, even with two angelics. I mean you are able to kill noobs, but hardly really godly smiters or barbs. They have to musch Defense. :D ... But anyway... awesome vid, and the music as well...

It was neither my intention to start an argument on this matter nor to question the potency of this kind of character in general. My point was that its much harder to make a FC Bear that is able to kill really good Melee Characters than to make a Smiter of the same purpose. I mean Smiters hit pretty much with every smite, but FC Bears rely on their AR and also get an astounding boost from FC. If every punch would hit, everything would be dead in 3-5 seconds... but it doesnt hit every time...

Iknow it's kind of pathetic but you have get that CnbF and I used Angelics with 2 Rings ... but still ... it doesn't changed anything ... anyway ... it's still the funniest melee char I can think of because of this incredible speed ...

For the AR bonus you need the Angelic's Ring and Ammy, two rings do nothing. You can also use the Heart of Wolverine for extra AR and Dmg. A demon limb with lvl 23 Enchant is also helpful because it gives AR. Blessed Aim Merc for PvM.

P.S. Nobody kills a good Smiter.

Oh ok, sorry I misunderstood you. Ya, I dueled my friends smiter on my kicksin and the only way i could come close to beating him was if he didn't use Holy Shield. with that on he has 41k defense. I couldn't even scratch him. Sorcs should be easy for you though, I never made a FireClaw Druid before so I cant say for sure.

I'd say he should get aldurs boots and bloodfist gloves. for armor i recommend a nice arkanies or a armor with high life. A fireclaw druid must have alot of life and max block to survive chasing ppl. Fire druids is all about high damage AND life.

He attacks really fast probably using a 6x shael phase blade, or some something similar. Thats what i had on my fire claw, It could beat lots of chars until after the ladder got older. Then it just wasnt as viable vs ppl with perfect gear/tmc etc...

still a pretty fun build.

The build of this guy is ok, but as fire claw bear you need much run. Without run you won´t get good sorcis...

I play with 190 Fast Run. Using a + 2 Druid / 30 Run / 2 sox / add circlet is better than jalas. Also a good rare 24% FHR / > 25 STR / > 50 Life / Triple Res Belt + Storm Ber is better than Verdungos + Storm Shael

To get high res is very hard at this build.
