For generations if you had children and wanted to keep them safe you wanted a pit bull, the dog that was the most reliable of any breed with children or adults. People have done wrong by this breed and so many others. My daughter Melly had a Rott called Tequila he was the best nanny dog ever. He was the best dog we ever had at 130lbs he was huge and a teddy bear.

ive only had two kinds of dogs a chow's and pit bulls ive never had a problem with the pit bulls my twin girls age 5 have a dog he is a blue pit and loves my kids very protective of them and pregnant wife. he is 98 lb's and he shares a pizza with me 2 or 3 times a week great dog he thinks he's a lab but our chow were a all ways kinda unwelcoming
They fail to recall that APBT's are great family pets,and that they impacted our history greatly.
All they see are mean looking dogs with sharp teeth,and dog fights. However,they don't care if a Chihauhua bears there teeth at them,or barks non stop.
*sigh* I wonder how can such a nice breed's reputation have diminished so horribly from superb nice family dogs to horrible born mean "monster" dogs that only bad people have in such a short period of time..

Dog fighting and animal abuse is the problem NOT THE DOG!. BSL kills dogs because of how they look (INSANE) not considering their temperment. BSL is just plain rooted in bigotry, hatred and ignorance. Keep up the battle to get awareness out there.
I've never seen one with only old photos, it is awesome! The song went good with it, although I would have gone with a song from that era, just to put the times in perspective. I would love to see more videos done like this...it really makes you think about how things used to be versus how they are now.
