  • but its still in 720p

  • I bought this game just because of the graphics .. wow

  • Choppy, Framerate is Choppy. Like every PC game. love em; but still frustrating

  • but they made Crysis for max ppl..and max money....its why Crysis is easy than old game ( far cry / rainbow)......and need to remix ennemi ...firt and not vegetation or terrain.....lol .....its not show easy gays for kid.....its serious games now my Crysis is hardest you never see....all like swhow and easy game.....noob kid...best gamer destroy you easy...gays

  • yes i hav 450 gts 1 gb....I5 760 2.8 Ghz/ 4 G ram /and motherboard P 55 UD 3l....i play max spec and 1680 X 1050 and i dont see better quality on other in U tube...cuz crysis cant be better...i am max spec ...cant do better with other cpu...hehe money for nothing..only difference is screen...

  • где графон блеять

  • This game is going to run like a joke on consoles when it releases in October, I honestly don't know how the game is even going to run, probably at like 20 FPS with EVERYTHING dumbed down and most of the Island closed off lol

  • It looks like it will look as bad as Crysis 2 on consoles. Very low view distance, corridor-type shooter due to the low console hardware and Crysis' big maps, console optimized graphics, no map editor, and much more. Porting Crysis to consoles makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine.

  • @Crysis482

    Nice comment!

  • @Turkvolk Thank you.

  • @Crysis482

No problem. I´m saying just the truth and my opinion. You are nice.

  • @Turkvolk

I try to be nice, I don't go around picking fights like many people do, but if someone gets me mad they had better expect a fight. Send me a friend requst if you wish.

  • @Crysis482

    Roger that.

  • @Turkvolk Steve Jobs died today, I just heard about it.

  • @Turkvolk Woops, I mean't he died yesterday.

  • i'm starting to think that my 5850 is really weak.

  • 450-500 W PSU is enough

  • Hey, I want to run crysis 1 (or two) on max settings. I am planning on getting a new rig and am wondering if i could run it?

    coolermaster Elite 460W PSU

    Seagate 1000GB 1TB SATA3

    DVDRW Black OEM

    CoolerMaster Elite 371 no PSU

    Windows 7 prem. 64 bit

    Asus P8P67 LER Socket

    Asus ENGTX550 TI 1GB

    Intel i3-2100 3.1Ghz

  • Will this be good enough to play at those settings:

    Radeon HD 6950

Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition

    700Watt Power Supply

    4GB RAM?

  • @Martinntoxx Yes but I am not sure if the poster of this video has overclocked his card, 8xAA is very taxing even for the 5800 series on stock clocks. But your card will to deliver 30plus frames without overclocking.

  • @OGTiago yes search for crysis patch

  • I, any lightning mod used in the video ?

  • Anyhow, I agree 2.0 is recommendable cause it has double bandwidth than 1.0 (64Gb/s vs. 32) and every decent card will use it up to max..

  • Looks better then Crysis 2....

  • I have just built my new gaming rig and was wondering if i will be able to run crysis with all settings on very high at a smooth frame rate

    Heres my specs

OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

    CPU Intel® Core™ i7 2720QM 2.2GHz (3.3GHz w/Turbo Boost, 6MB Cache)

    RAM 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz

    GPU 3GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M

    HD 500GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s

    Thanks

  • @MocoKoka I think that depends on resolution which you will be gaming at. Check out this clip for reference /watch?v=pTBYNCR97e0

It shows GT555M playing crysis on high at 1600x900. Maybe, but just maybe, it'll run it on very high at 1366x768. Cheers, have a nice day. :)

  • @miljansavovic The highest resolution that i would be playing would be 1600x900 so hopefully when i get it i can bump the resolution Thanks for the Info

  • @MocoKoka You're welcome. Have you considered buying a machine with GTX460M, or waiting a month for GTX560M? GT555M should be fine, but for a few bucks more, you should get nice performance boost with cards mentioned above.

  • Posting a 1080p video in 720p. Great job! :)

  • when I turn on anti aliasing quality, the trees become pixelated. why??

  • The recorder is makin this lag slighty, right?

  • @VaderGuy9 yes

  • @jaju123456 ur frame rate? jst got a quad core than can oc arnd 3.8 at v1.168 :D same specs basically except i got 4gb corsair and im 1920x 1080

  • Will i get lower fps running this in a PCI-E 1.0 slot? And also what resolution were you running this at?

  • @HGCommunity This was run at 1920x1080, as it says in the title, and PCI-E 1.0 shouldnt make too much difference, maybe 5% (unless you have a beast like the GTX 590)

  • @jaju123456 hahahaha indeed im running a gtx 430 in mine

  • @HGCommunity if your pc still has pci 1.0 i wouldnt bother trying to. i think its time for an upgrade :D

  • @HGCommunity No you will have terrible preformance running in a pci-e x1 slot. At least that was what I experienced. pcie 2 4x is minimum i'd say, 8x for pcie 1.

  • @Synixx You are mixing slot versions and slot speeds mate ;)

  • YOU KILLED THE TREE !!!

  • i can play this at 42 frames in crysis warhead with 5850be 1gb witth amd 830 processor 2.8ghz and 6 gb of ddr3 ram with windows 7 64 bit

  • @45thetank congratulations, at what res? because I get +60fps @ 6040 x 1080

  • Nass

  • why do some people play on these settings? the game isnt that much fun to begin with and when you play with unstable framerates, its even worse.

  • this is probably a stupid question, but i have a ati radeon 4650 1gb graphics card atm, if i wanted to upgrade that to a better graphics card, would i also need to upgrade my power supply ? =o

  • @24billion Depends on the power supply :p

  • @jaju123456 thanks for the extremely fast reply lol :L i dont know what my power supply is, but judging by google, its 250/300w =/

  • @24billion Definately. You should have a 600W for any modern mid/high-end gpu :)

  • @jaju123456

    80+ also

  • @jaju123456 I'd suggest 1000W just to save you buying a new PSU eventually, PSUs over 800W usually last 2 years without problems (Hence why I have 1000W)

Good to see the HD5850 is still kicking ass even on hardcore games like crysis :P

I did notice a slight performance drop when having r_motionblur set to 5

And the game ran at 20 fps without 8xMSAA then runs at 36 fps with 8xMSAA

Id imagine its a memory leak but I am running 1.2 patch with 11.12 CCC

Ah well no complaints :P Good vid btw :D

  • @jaju123456 hi dude i also have a 5850, but my processor is an i3 and my ram is 2gbs :(, i get 24 fps at that resolution, but run every other game on max with max AA at 2048x1536 res. js crysis, so do you think its the ram thats bottlenecking, or the cpu?

  • @jaju123456 750W and you don't have to worry about it in the future

  • nice, but at 1080p do you absolutely NEED 8x AA?

  • u can play on 1920x1080 on HD 5850 on VERY HIGH quite smoothly actually

    patch to latest patch

    set VERY HIGH

    DO NOT USE AA

  • How much did your PC cost?

  • dear santa... this looks good :D !!

  • damn i need this, i struggle to play Empire: total war at the lowest settings :L

  • this looks like a hiking trip

  • can someone answer this question for me please lol i have a nvidia geforce 280 gtx i am aware this is crap XD and i was wondering to get better graphics how does it work? i mean ive seen people with like 4 graphics cards all in a row in there computer and they are all the same does this increase the graphics and if not what is this for? please use simple terms XD

  • @ps3bof A GTX 280 is a good card if a bit old now. In order to get better graphics performance it would be as simple as buying a new card, such as the GTX 560ti and replacing the 280 inside your computer with that one. Many graphics cards bring in a whole load of new issues that should only be managed by experienced computer enthusiasts.

  • @jaju123456 ah i see so my best bet basically is to avoid buying stuff like this and sticking to ready manufactured stuff like alienware?

  • @ps3bof Nah you could research how to replace a graphics card and do it yourself. If you have a budget etc I can give you advice as to what to buy :)

  • @jaju123456 ok then :) well my current setup i believe is 2 ghz processor the geforce 280gtx 3gb of ram 1tb hard drive and well i bought this from a shop that built it for me XD what do you think it needs to be upgraded? i heard it probably needs a processor upgrade lol and it also has xp i dunno if its worth upgrading to windows 7 or not lol my budget is about £300 or $500 lol :)

  • @jaju123456 some problems, can also improve performance, can be solved with just installing the newest card patch. . . nvidia still makes nvidia 220 patches lol

  • 5850 overclocked or 6850?

  • i have a Asus HD 5970 Voltage Tweak Edition and a intel i7960 overclocked to 360giz why can only run this on all very high but with no AA

  • It's like a fucking slide show

  • Give me Quake 3 any day. Games really haven't progressed that much.

  • A LAPTOP WITH : ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 5850 mit 1 GB DDR 3 VRam (with DX11)

Intel Core i5-460M Prozessor (2.53 GHz with Turbo-Boost 2.80 GHz)

    4 GB DDR 3 Arbeitsspeicher

    OR A DESKTOP PC WITH:

    Intel Core i7-870 2.93 GHz

    NVIDIA GeForce GTS 440

    6 GB RAM

    1 TB HDD

WHICH ONE IS BETTER THE LAPTOP OR THE PC PLEASE FAST ANSWER!!

  • @GIGAspamstormGIGA ofcourse the pc. the ps will even outperform the laptop even if it had the same hardware.

  • I would keep the graphics settings at a little lower if i had a great graphics chip like that, so it would last longer.

  • i have this card and i get 30 fps when im just walking around around in a firefight i get 20-25 at 1600 1080

  • Maximum Strength, Maximum Armor, Maximum Strength.

  • How will i run this game?

    Here are my specs:

    -Intel core i5 460 2.53 GHZ

    -6GB ram

    -1 GB NVIDIA GT420M GeForce

    -1366x768 screen resolution

  • Teh PS3 cud do this! - Classic PS3 fanboy

  • @mynamesdenvrmax Its a little more like this acutally " lowl u pc fags lmao dat looks all shitty anyways lmao haha spaz"

  • Comment removed

  • @MJ4everTheKing ehhh crysis isn't on ps3

so shut up with your commenst about ps3

  • impressive the cry engine...

  • should i buy this or a GTX470

  • When I posted the comments about the 6850, it was unknown that it would become the 6950. Sorry for the confusion.

  • What should i buy? this or the 6870?

  • @JIPPIX94 6870

  • @jaju123456 is the 6870 better than the 5850?

  • @jaju123456 omg i have 6870 and my comp lags like shit when i play on full settings

  • @JIPPIX94 5870

  • Costs less, then with a little OC is like a 5870.

  • i hate my gts 240 i have i5 but my graphiccard sucks

  • ATI HD 5870 is better!!! DONT buy 5850!!!! i think

  • Im getting the HD 5770 as a christmas present ^^ cant wait

But, what's a good CPU to go with it?

I wanna upgrade it to a quad core, any suggestions on an intel for like 200 dollars?

  • 5850 wins out big. I scored an XFX one for $175 before the thanksgiving sales..

It achieves 5870 performance at the fraction of the cost. I have mine 875/1175 stock voltage.

  • @marvelous211 My system

    Asus P7H55D-M EVO

    i3 530 @ 4.3ghz

    Gskill 4 gigs ddr3

    XFX 5850 875/1175 stock voltage

I ran furmark on high clock settings but it had quirks in call of duty black ops

    Crysis @ very high 4xAA 1920x1080 38 fps.

Metro runs dx 10 max fluid. DX11 it does choke out @ max but you can mix the best graphic settings you want. I don't really see the difference between dx 10 or dx11 anyway.

  • Is this recorded with fraps

  • HIS radeon hd 5770 or ATi hd 5850?

  • @misterhoobomaster 5770 sucks balls,5850 for freckin sure

  • @zodiac19931993 Its doesnt suck balls 5850 is just better :P

  • @misterhoobomaster 5770 lies betwn 4850 and 4870 as far as i knw,i wouldnt reccomend it,u could do fine with crossfire 4850x2

  • @zodiac19931993 i got a 5770 i think its fine man :D crysis maxed including AA 25-40 fps :D but gonna geta 5870 aventualy

  • How do you get 32+ FPS? I have an HD 5850 and an i5 yet I get 20-30 FPS in the demo on the same resolution...

  • he gets 32+ bec. of anti aliasing remove then the performance will blow up something

  • whats better? 5850 or 5870?

  • Esse jogo só se resume a MATO! ...e GRAMA tb!

  • what is better? radeon 5850 or nvidia gtx 465?

    Please answer!

  • @pmgibney

    5850

  • @pmgibney The gtx 460 is a terrible card. Do not buy it under any circumstances. The 5850 has been completely replaced by the 6870.

  • @newgroundsnet terrible card? The ati 6850 perform same as the gtx 460. MSI talon attack version from MSI outperform ati 5870 and gtx 480 when it is OCed. Actualy the gtx 460 is the best way to go(3D vission, cuda, physix)

  • Why you using anti aliasing with that resolution? no need

  • crysis is not so good i can play ist maxed out on my laptop oO

  • Crysis doesn't have "great" graphics at all.. How about a game dev lrns2optimize instead of requiring ridiculously powerful hardware?

  • play the game then! whys he just faffing about?

  • OMG soo beautiful....and it was 3 years back!!!I wonder when we'll finally hit photorealism and then i wont hav to constantly upgrade my PC anymore :P...what'll be next after that?

  • that is the real power of a nice video card

  • OOOoooo AAAAHhhhhh, soooo preatty!

  • if only consoles could do these graphics....

  • how long do you think is it going to be before the 6850 shows up?

I was thinking of buying the 5850 mid oct...and also is it going to be in the dame price range..?

  • if i buy a xfx radeon hd 5850 and i have

and intel core i5 750 and 6 GB RAM

how many fps do you think i will have if i play very high/enthusiast with no AA on 1680x1050 ?

  • @gotacola152 i think 45-60fps with 4xAA

  • @crilleada on max. normally a person with that kind of rig would already know that!

  • OH YA, WELL, UH UHmmm, I HAVE EXRTA UM SHIT INSTALLED IN MY COMPUTER... SO UM, BEAT THAT! >:)

  • this is what I call "consoles are crap" inspirational video.

  • Crossfire 2x or 3x 5850 and see...

  • "Crysis Very High 8xAA - XFX ATI 5850 1gb

    32+ fps!"

The game is not playable. It's painful to watch this - a first person shooter must have a minimum of 60-70FPS, this was like watching a still picture shoot with someone manually changing the picture every second.

  • @europachef Are you on speed? I virtually can't tell the difference past 45+. That's fast enough for me.

  • @vendo233 No, I'm not on speed. I'm just not damaged mate, that's all.

  • @europachef it must have a minimum of 35-40. you see a difference between 70 and 40 but you hardly notice it. and btw consoles run it most games at around 50-60fps. anyway 32 fps is playable, as if someone can manually change the frame with 32 clicks per second. and youtube does no justice.

  • Would it'd be safe to get a new motherboard for a q6600 or should i just save a lot longer and get a faster processor too? Id like to crossfire my 5770 so I'm trying to a good crossfire compatible mobo but idk if i should stick to the Q6600.

  • @aquapwnsyou Wait for the 6850 later this year.

  • @jaju123456 I meant that's the processor i had and i wanted to get a 2nd 5770 video card. i was asking if i would be fine keeping that processor and just getting a new motherboard.

  • @jaju123456 Comes out the 22nd (;

  • @jaju123456

this card is not made for gaming :)

  • @jaju123456 6850 is no improvement over the 5xxx series, it has a smaller die size, lower voltages. lower heat, and of course lower clocks. Thats not a bad thing, its practically a bargain series, I'm just saying that it wont outperform the 58xx series.

  • @jaju123456 6850 is much weaker than 6850

  • @jaju123456 doesn't the 5850 score higher than the 6850?

  • @hermetikkbox Yes but I did not know that the 5850's successor would be the 6950 when I posted that comment, it was announced a couple of weeks later. In addition, I would now advise to wait for the GTX560 as that will probably offer the most value when it arrives.

  • @jaju123456 hm ok, well i'm buying this card in not so long cause it seems really good for the price, i recently bough a new mobo with 4x3.0GHz cpu and 4 gigs of ram for €200 and need a gpu that doesn't cost too much but can still play some of the newer games

  • @aquapwnsyou IF U GET 6770...IT WILL BE BE NEARLY EQUAL TO 5850..MAYB POWERFUL..BUT ATI CLAIMS THAT IT WOULD HAVE DOUBLE THE HORSEPOWER IN 5770.....6770 ALONE IS GOOD ENOUGH...IF U R AN ENTHUSIAST...DONOT HESITATE..GO FOR GTS 460...I RECOMMIND NVIDIA CARD TO ATI...MIGHT CHANGE AFTER THE RELEASE OF 'SOUTHERN ISLANDS' CODE NAME FOR 6000 SERIES.....

  • @aquapwnsyou Meh, waste of money unless you need for something other than gaming. Get an e8400 if you're gonna stick with 775, if you really want a quad core then upgrade to an 1156 or 1366 board. Most games don't even use quad-core processors. Anything over 3ghz on a dual core shouldn't bottle neck any 5xxxseries radeon.

  • @svt11111 Why would you recommend such a dated CPU atthis day and age? atleadt get an i3, as the HT would come in handy with games that utilise 4 or more cores (as games and Windows see's an i3 w/ HT as a quad core).

  • @Rawrfex Because clearly he's still running a socket 775 motherboard. i3s aren't worth the money anyways.

If you're going to bother upgrading the board, processor and ram might as well get at least an i5.

  • @aquapwnsyou

I'll answer the question since jaju failed too, a new line of intel processors are going to be released in the next week, they will drop prices significantly of older stuff, it really depends on your system setup but it would be worth it to get one of the new sandybridge i7's or get one of the older ones at a more discounted price, this would require new ram and a new motherboard. bare in mind the new i7's will use a different mobo socket that the current ones.

  • i've got a cpu very similar to yours, i was thinking also about getting an ati 5850 to replace my gtx 285... simple reason being that i spilt liquid on it

  • @DanWantsPie17 Wait for the 6850 later this year.

  • i've got a cpu very similar to yours, i was thinking also about getting an ati 5850 :)

  • @DanWantsPie17 Wait for the 6850 later this year.

  • @jaju123456 later this year? says Q1 2011

  • @jaju123456 The 6800 series cards are going to be slower then the 5800 series.

There naming the high end cards differently now

  • @CobraProductionsTV 6800 are price value cards ok. And its not slower than all 5800 cards. 6870 for 299 preformance better than 5850 and slightly worse than 5870. So i'd say its a pretty damn good deal

  • @sparty007 They are slower.but also cheaper.

  • @jaju123456 well 6850 comes out this week

  • @jaju123456 HD 6870 performs same than HD 5850 so I wouldn't get HD 6850.

  • @Ashlak thats cause ati moved the number of the successor up one step from its predecessor ex: predecessor: 5870 Successor: 5890

  • @jaju123456 The 6850 preforms lesser than the 5850 as its a mid range card not its successor.

  • @jaju123456 6850 doesn't perform as good as 5850 tho. Should get 6870 as it's like $70 cheaper than 5850 lal

  • hey which is better

    ati 5850 or gtx 260

  • @ankit866 5850!

  • Comment removed

  • @ankit866 The HD 5850

  • @ankit866 The 5850 by a LONG way.

  • @jaju123456 desinformating comment , even a gts 250 is better

  • @jaju123456 something is wrong, because you only get 32 fps with such a nice pc, you should atleast get 40 or more

update your gpu drivers and clean up the hdd or something, because this aint right!

  • @jaju123456 However the gtx 580 is now out, i'd say price : performance ratio, the 5870 wins out big time.

  • @jaju123456 you fucking liar its real life :D

  • pc fans is so retarded omg

  • @Frost4k pc fans is!

  • @Frost4k

    no u :)

  • I wouldn't play this game with these settings, I need at least 60-xxx fps for playability

  • @Deathz0r94 nobody stops you from turning down the graphics to just high (where it runs flawlessly with the absence of SSAO).

  • slooooow

  • You dont need 8xAA on such high resolution. It strongly reduces performance and it is not noticeable.

  • I have a 3.2ghz quadcore AMD processor, and I've just ordered more RAM (will be a total of 4gb) and this graphics card. It should run Crysis smoothly right? With everything maxed out except for say, the AA.

  • Guys, what settings would you recommend to run Crysis on with:

    - Power Supply: OCZ 500w II StealthXStream

    - CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 245 2.90GHz (Socket AM3)

    - Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-US2H AMD 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

    - RAM: OCZ Gold Low Voltage 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel

    - Hard Drive: Seagate 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache

    - Graphics Card: XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3

    - Sound: ALC888B 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC

  • @GUNRUNNER786 Run it at High resolution with medium settings
