I have to say I don't understand why people prefer this to football (soccer as the yankees call it. lol.) As this isn't a sport its just a load of plays, it's like constantly only playing a kick offs, corners and throw ins in soccer without any of the match inbetween. I think baseball is my favourite american sport, infact i probably prefer baseball to football (soccer) they should make baseball arcade game of this style for PSN.

@Myk44 first off....this isn't a great representation of real american football, this is "arcade" fun....real football is similar to war really, it is truly strategic with brute force, there is always a reason the coaches select a pass or run play, and there is always a reason a coach selects a blitz or drops his defense into coverage.

I know what you mean when someone runs with the Eagles or Titans McNabb and Young can scramble for big yards all game and if you over-commit to stop that which you pretty much have to do to stop it they can easily dump it off the either running back. Basically, you have two options 1 play tight and wait for them to beat themselves (which happens quite often) or 2 hope the bonus icons go your way for the game but other than that its difficult.
