  • Song title is actually "Comes The Revolution, Baby" written for 1935 RKO film "Old Man Rhythm". Lewis E. Gensler wrote the music, Mercer the lyrics.

  • Johnny Mercer was wonderful? You have no idea. He only composed some of the most beautiful hits of the 1950's and won academy awards for top movies of the 1950's and 1960's. You probably heard his songs and don't know who wrote them. The world today has forgotten Johnny Mercer. Maybe it's time for me to leave.
