  • Mireille absolutely HAS to do this song when she gives her concert in Tel Aviv this year.....maybe those war torn people will listen to this angels words and change for the better for all

  • Bewunderung. Danke Mimi.

  • Mireille Mathieu grâce grande voix:)

  • for zu

  • Can't help but fall in love

  • Si belle voix! Visage aussi!

  • The most beautiful female singer ever!!!

  • "I dunno what this whole "Columbines"" The song says "and may the cannon sleep beneath the flowers". Colombine is a white dove/ pigeon. Now you know

  • lol I know what "Colombes" are but "Columbines" doesn't make any sense because in English "Columbines" are plants, not doves. And in French, the word in Colombes, not Columbines.

  • Bobby Goldssboro wrote the song maybe his french aint real good ! But we are all grateful. Poetic licence?

  • Beautiful!! Although I dunno what this whole "Columbines" thing is all about in the title, lol. Swing and a miss!

    Absolutely beautiful! J'adore Mireille!

  • "I dunno what this whole "Columbines" thing is" White Dove is symbol of peace. As the hawk is the symbol of war. Its an anti war song. Thousand doves is a plea for peace.

  • omg she has long hair !!!

  • oh la voix!!

  • I see some mistake in the text "Demain, c`est nous, et demain plus de guerre" should be "Tomorrow, it`s us and tomorow no more war". Beautiful, peaceful and charming song of a French golden voiced Lady.

  • That's true, in French "plus" can mean "more" or "no more"

  • God, is there any drug in this song or am I slightly going mad?. Since I joined YT,days ago not weeks even, I cannot leave a day without this song 3-5 times a day. And this beautiful lady looking so childish here worn like a little girl. Incredible, time consuming, but not to be left to anyone. Looking for a word: total charm.

  • I have tears on my eyes. Beauthifull feeling of the childhood lost years....

  • jacoblorber sent me this video, Thank you him and thank you Steve and Mireille aussi. And HIM too ... a wonderful song: all men shall become children again!

    Elisabeth

  • Profoundly insightful you are Elisabeth.

It makes me think. A new Jakob Lorber page on the site.

  • The chorus was borrowed note for note from a well-known aria in Bellini's Norma (La Callas favorite).

Mr Bruhn, who's the "composer" of this song, should have mentioned it ...

  • Mention the plagarism for what purpose?

  • Any problem with that ? i just wanted to give back to Caesar what owned to Caesar.

  • Un monde joli est un monde où l'on comprends ces mots de Mireille.. thank you so much

    Ca c'est vrai

  • Wspaniała jak zawsze

  • What a song for peace it applies so much for our troubled times in 2007. Mireille is the greatest singer. I remember her so well since i was very young and thanks to your video clips i have found her once again. God bless Mireille!

  • you got a small mistake during the translation, she says "no more war" not "more war"

    beside that its good.

  • Amazing song again, Jimbo, thank you so much for putting on line all these songs of Mireille. Definitely, she is one of France's all time best singers.

  • Et.. que la paix soit sur le monde.

God bless who wrote this sentimental and touching song.

  • Un monde joli est un monde où l'on comprends ces mots de Mireille.. thank you so much

  • Yes Kimbo, another new Mireille-video, five stars and thank you.

  • thank you! she is one of my favorite and finally i understand what she is singing!

  • Bobby Goldsboro wrote this. A charming sentiment.
