When my cousins came from Mexico we went here because of course they never been here but my dad and his brother went here before way before we were born and they were all like yeah its a nice ride blah blah me and my cousin went in the way front, it started and i was freaking FAST at the end we looked at the picture and i looked funny we went home aand my mom threw up blah blah it wassnt fun for her but it was fun for me :), my expression. i just got back from disneyland yesterday and it was fucken awesome and this is my favorite ride in all of disneyland! its a ride that never gets old and you can seriously ride it over and over again lol! :D disneyland is awesome for this ride. everything about this ride goes so well together, to the music, the colors, the speed, etc its all awesome! XD

I love this ride so much. I think it goes so much faster now that the re did it. I was so mad when they closed it because it is my fav ride in the park as well as Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribean, and big Thunder Railroad. Back in 1995 at 7 years old I road Indiana Jones the day it opened. We stood in line for hours(kept breaking down). My sister and I went to go ride Space Mountain in 2003 and we were looking forward to it and then we came upon it and was like WHAT CLOSED!! Was so mad.

It does not go upside down. I, too have a fear of heights and have managed to avoid this ride for 26 years. Finally, I threw caution to the wind and decided to give it a try. IT WAS THE BEST RIDE I'VE EVER BEEN ON! You can't see the tracks for one thing, so you don't experience the fear of falling off. There are no drops, you just wind down the mountain. Great Disney sensory stimulation. I love it!!! Can't wait to go on it again.

Doesn't this ride go upside down? I've never been on this ride before and I was just wondering. I have a horrible fear of heights and I REALLY want to go on this ride and since it's in the dark, maybe it will kinda help me with my fear.

@morphavolo Really? I went on it in 1997, and I could've sworn it went upside-down. Then again, I was 7/8 at the time, and extremely disoriented. I'll have to go on this ride again!

I just got back from disneyland today, I rode this the last...and did I make a right decision, after having it brake down and waiting over an hour for it it was well worth it this (and Indiana Jones) are the best rides there.

Wow, the audio quality here is actually pretty decent.

Yeah, Space Mountain will always remain in my top 3 rollar coasters. Right now it's at #3 because Tatsu and Goliath beat it but they were in Magic Mountain. But this ride is still my #1 for Disneyland and Disneyworld.

Cool Queue music and sound effects To bad you had to edit the rides onboard with with out the SS 77 this is misssion control we aere igntion power transfer in 3 2 1 and with out the strobe tunnel electric sounds etc.
