This song sends a message. The van zant brothers and the guy in the video were both afraid of something. For the zant brothers it was flying-their brother (original lynard skynard singer) was killed in a plane crash. This video was about overcoming the fear of flying. For the other dude in the video it was standing up for himself. He was scared at first then he did it without looking back.

always loved this group...started in Ft.Wayne Indiana after I lost my wallet...and ticket on the way there at a gas station sometime before the show....I'm sitting on the step out back of the arena all bummed out when some guy stops and asks me whats wrong. Guy comes back with a ticket telling me to enjoy the show. When the show started I saw the guy who gave me the ticket playing drums. My buddies who I met up with finally almost didn't believe me. made me a fan for life..Thanks drummer guy..
