Does anyone know how to simulate floating Balloons? How about with a cloth string attached? Modeling and textureing a balloon seems easy to me, but getting it to simulate for a video is a pain and seems impossible. :(
@Fluppy97 I got it off of cgtextures [dot] com. I used photoshop to turn it into a skydome image (a round image, it's so easy to use the image in Blender after you do that, you just hit unwrap, and for me, I didn't even need to lift a finger to adjust the UV image), 4000x4000, so it's a really high resolution sky shot.
Must've taken an eternity for you to do. I made that same thing using a tutorial, 16x anti-aliasing, mirror finish, all that, and also made 1280x1024 wallpaper out of it, it took at least 35 minutes or so!
@roejames12 Yup, this one is 720x480,I don't remember anti-aliasing but it took 3 hours to render all 250 frames. But I'm beginner in Blender so I was happy for my first bigger project.
@Fluppy97 3 hours for 250 frames... Not too bad. I just re-rendered my wallpaper with 16x anti-aliasing, no mirror finish, and no lens effect, only took 7 minutes. Ya, this was actually my very very first project too. I'd give you a link to the image I made, but you know Youtube...
Nice!
