wow. truly inspirational. funny, they asked me to do that a week from now! its for the school's assembly. they want me to do the exact situation as you just did. any advise or tips?
@a7mido6 Yes in fact... make sure you have your routine down flawlessly! You can't tell here but when I was doing a simple up the ladder cut I accidently lost the top packet.. so I just pulled a packet out from the center and thankfully it turned out to be in the right position. Also, I have another video of another assembly performance where I do in fact screw up.. so I had to improvise. So moral of the story... don't screw up. Or have a backup plan if you do... or just get really lucky.
@sjsawyer Thanks. As far as routines go, do you think I should demonstrate tricks with or without audience participation? (in your case you were providing all of the entertainment.) Cuz I only have 5-10 minutes on there...
@a7mido6 Well I had intended to have audience participation but due to some technical things it couldn't be made possible... If you're going for a full 10 minutes I would have audience participation. Depends a lot on the effects as well...
@sjsawyer Audience participation was granted today. As for the routines, Im doing mcdonald's aces, hijacked by jay sankey. French kiss by Wayne houchin but i need one more...
@bleedgreen7 Thank you! It's a combination of MacDonald's Aces which I've first seen Arnaud Chevrier do, and Maxi Twist which I first saw Bill Malone perform. So I combined those together and added in the production of the aces there at the beginning. If I could go back, I would definitely have done MacDonald's Aces at the end.
Very nice. I think I saw this performance, with a different camera angle, at MVD a while back. It was the first time a saw Maxi Twist. It fooled the heck out of me.
Very nice. But you should have ended with the four ace reveal. That was the biggest reaction. NFW, or reset, or whatever name you want to call it. That really needs patter. Four aces can stand alone and you performed it quite well. I don't have it totally figured out myself unless the is some R-S on the cards.
I have seen all of your videos and I must say that you amaze me with your crazy skills. You performed so smoothly in front of all of 1000 or more kids. Awesome job, man. One question, since that I am a magician, where did you learn it from and where can I get it? 5/5 from me
