I don't want Obama to succeed in socializing medicine because I think it is a horrible idea for the country, that doesn't make me against America or bitter. Well, I wouldn't say that I want conservative policies to fail, nor do I want liberal policies to fail, being a liberal. I want people to be happy. And I honestly think it could be achieved under both conservative and liberal policies.

Having said that, I don't think many people would consider it unpatriotic to want those policies to fail. But they do see it as rather stupid. I never wanted Bush to mess up Iraq. He just did it on his own.
