yo tengo este problema alimenticio y te queria aclarar que esta enfermedad no empieza solo por querer estar flaca y ser como modelos y actrises
cuando alguien pasa por muchos problemas, entra en un estado de depresión muy grande el apetito se va y naturalmente empezas a adelgazar después de tanto tiempo, no podes comer nada, la comida te da asco.
el estomago no se acostumbra y vomitas. no es solo por querer estar "flaca"

My girlfriend died from losing too much weight too quickly and her heart had stopped... she didn't even make it to be 18 and she didn't even look like what most people who suffer from it :'( I wish I could've helped her earlier and understood how serious it was. Please people help those right away and especially parents should get help as soon as possible!! She will always be my angel and bless those who have lost their dearest.
only eat when you are truly hungry an you'll never encounter weight problems. your body knows what it needs. if you get hungry when ur bored try carrot sticks or something healthy or find something to do so that you aren't bored anymore. i have lived by this rule all my teenaged life and i've never been unhappy with my body.

The other girl was laughing and smiling and kind of radiated beauty. A lot more people approached her. Starving yourself wont make you beautiful.

I have those three raised bumps on the back of my neck that we see at...3:18 I think. But I'm healthy for my age. I may be bordering being underweight, but that's because I rarely gain weight. I swim, run, and play soccer. I'm not unhealthy. But seeing those bumps on the back (The spine I should say) of one of the anorexic girls neck, I'm worried. ( I love to eat and never reprieve myself from food).

Anorexia is a state of mind. Causing people to think not being skinny means you're not beautiful. Thanks to the media and the invention known as 'the mirror', our fucked up society leads us to believe that only skinny is beautiful. You are beautiful no matter what you weight. Nor what colour hair/skin you have. Or how tall you are. Everyone is beautiful, i just wish people would realise that. So, never judge someone on how they look. Please, look what damage can be done.
It's not a "food" issue, it's a mental illness. I have suffered for over 10 yrs and still fight against sticking my head in the toilet...only therapy and a loving husband have seen me through to the other side....forget the haters on here...get the help you need and love life...too much out there in this big beautiful world to get caught up in the image of yourself...

It goes both ways, too skinny and too fat. People go to extremes. There is a happy medium, there just needs to be more emphasis on it. Granted, people's body shapes are all different. Like Kiera Knightly I think she just naturally has a small, lean structure.

@lizzielovesjohn4life - Fat is not back nor is overly "skinny". Men really like a nice, healthy shape...not too obese or too skinny. They like a nice shape but within reason. If one is" gluttenous" - that is disgusting and not pretty nor feminine.. That would be akin to the washer woman servant scrubbing floors and eating lots of carbs - in my opinion....if that is the type of overweight you are taling about.

@lizzielovesjohn4life Being very anorexic is not pretty - and it leads to feeding tube and often death. Being quite chubby, overweight or obese is not so good either. A nice happy medium, exercise, don't overeat and you will find that is the most attractive shape to have. Men like a nice shape and being too skinny or too fat is not what they really want. Excess fat is excess baggage. If one can't control either problem, then hopefully they will get help.....

If one is" gluttenous" - that is disgusting and not pretty nor feminine.. That would be akin to the washer woman servant scrubbing floors and eating lots of carbs - in my opinion....if that is the type of overweight you are taling about.

@lizzielovesjohn4life Being very anorexic is not pretty - and it leads to feeding tube and often death. Being quite chubby, overweight or obese is not so good either. A nice happy medium, exercise, don't overeat and you will find that is the most attractive shape to have. Men like a nice shape and being too skinny or too fat is not what they really want. Excess fat is excess baggage. If one can't control either problem, then hopefully they will get help.....
