In order to have the best national team in the world you need to have one of the best soccer leagues in the world and I don't see MLS reaching the level of the top european leagues anytime soon. For that reason USA will not win the 2010 world cup or even the 2014 world cup.

Wow, that's one hell of a prediction. That's like saying Puerto Rico will not have the highest medal count at the Summer Olympics in Beijing. Of course, the US won't win a World Cup any time soon. If twenty years from now MLS is still going, they will be one of the top six leagues in the world. Great show boys but just what were the coaching staff of Barbados thinking?? Their players simply were clueless with no tactics at all except sit back in their home third and try and hold out.
