I broke up with my (ex)boyfriend in August 2010, the day before school started. I listened to "The Test" today and only now do I truly realize how he felt.

He loved me. I didn't love him. I'm sorry, Casper. I'm sorry, William. Neither of you deserved that.

But, cruel as it sounds, I don't regret breaking up with him. I needed to do it. I still love The Academy Is... and I'm sorry William had to go through the same thing.

Fast Times is definitely my least favourite album. I'm not saying it's bad, in fact Coppertone is one of my favourite songs, but Santi and Almost Here surpass it by miles. This video was interesting though, to see what went into the album :)

omg, i love adam siska. his so cute, and william beckett is very very hot (; fast times at barrington high is a good album, but i dont think i like it as much as santi. i love santi!! and i think their a rock band as well, but that doesnt mean that younger kids cant like their music, it just means that younger kids will have to deal with the fact that they talk about things in their lyrics that they have not probably delt with yet.

TAI writes catchy, adorable poprock songs that appeal to 12-14 year olds. In other words, About a Girl.

I'm happy for their success, but I think that they have some very deep songs that are overlooked.

Their most recent CD is probably their only "pop" CD. Although Almost Here is fairly "poppy", it leans more towards rock and Santi is most definitely a rock album, and a great one at that.

I'm kind of taking offense to you saying that they're a pop/poprock band for young teens. I think they're much more than that. I've been a fan for 5 years, and they're so much more than a pop band and they always have been.

But still, the depth of the lyrics are definitely overlooked, even by fans.

About a Girl is not their best song. I like it, it's cute and heartfelt, but it IS the type of song that would appeal to 12-13 year olds.
