Passive house standard for heating is 15kWh/m² / year.
You mentioned 2000sqft that is about 185m². So the total energy for heating need to be 2775kWh or less for the entire year.
So 6000kWh for 7 months not winter weather is quite a lot no idea where this was used.
I use 250kWh/month excluding heating and I can do better since out of this 100kWh are for distiled water.
Overhang is non existent that will be bad in summer with those large windows (hope to see more details about the windows).
