Wonderboy VI: Monster World IV (Mega Drive): Mute Tower

Just been playing this for about 5 solid hours. It's great, but I think I like Wonderboy in Monster World a bit more. So glad the Fusion emulator supports save states though - the actual in game save points are pretty sparse and I don't think I would've had the patience to keep repeating parts of the level over and over again like I did when I was a kid.

Does this continue where Monster World left off? I saw that To Be Continued screen when Biomeka returned from his/its death & wondered if this game continues from that ending.

Sega should release this game outside of Japan by adding English text & releasing it for download for the PS3, Wii & Xbox 360. I'm sure there are many Wonder Boy fans out there who would love to buy it.

I have the MD cart version of this game, but I have never played it. I'm more of a collector. Been wanting to play it though, but the text is in Japanese. How can I get the English version you speak of?

Yeah, But if you wait until late in the game to sell your gold bars you can get the best stuff since the woman in town will pay you 9999 Gold for each bar at that time.

It says in this game (in a library) that some time after Shion rescued Monster World, a hole appeared outside his house and sucked him in..

Can someone help me? I'm stuck at the second portal/gate ... I'm in a jungle with pillars and statues and a stream in the foreground.

When I look up at a certain pillar it reads "If you are looking for Stream Sanctuary, the entrace is right above you...just jump in the chute and enjoy the ride"

totally stuck.

There is a pillar which doesn't have a mirror on the lake. Stand behind it then press "Down + Jump" =)

wonderboy rules! i just wish they bring it back and let us buy it because i'm a big fan besides i'm tired of all the new games that are out i rather play old great games such as this any day
