  • It is a shame that the American Diet is so acidic. The human body has a pH balance, yet if it it too acidic our body suffers, yet if it is too alkaline,it may not be as good.Getting it 7.0 is mandatory to be in 110% perfect health.

  • If your teeth can improve with this Raw Food Diet then so can I improve my teeth with this Raw Food Diet.

  • I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.

Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.

  • Hello Natasha

Can you go more in detail about raw foods and your depression that you overcame? Did it was bad your depression (like even thoughts of suicide?) Or was it just feeling bad all the time like you always wanted to sleep? And how long did it take for first improvement and...

    Thx

    Nathalie

  • How encouraging my gums are receding too so hopefully I'll have the same experience!

  • i wanna go raw so bad

  • Thank you for coming to confession.....now drink 25 hale Mary smoothies with spinich and blueberries, and you will be forgiven! (by me anyway!) lol.

  • before i watched this video, i have been receiving so many subtle signs or hint from the universe to change my diet.. this video just added to the list of signs :)

    lets do this!

  • @peiramn The same here :-)

  • Please tell us what was the book you bought in NY. Looks like a good start for us people (who don't even have a blender but want to start raw somehow).

  • what was thebook you picked up?

  • I'm looking forward to starting my RAW food journey!

  • I have very oily and acne prone skin, (always break out, it's making me depressed) I'm going on the raw diet life style as soon as I get a job. I'm hoping it will clear my skin, as well as other benefits that may come.

  • copy cat anne hathaway

  • great story! what was the recipe book that you first picked up?

  • i really liked this video. Thank you for sharing. gonna subscribe right now, your awesome.

  • I 'm in a big debate with my family right now. I have been on Elavil for depression for 20 years which helped but I still had a low tollerance for stress and IBS.

I decided to try TRUE HOPE EMPOWER PLUS and a healthy diet.

My brother thinks that the company that sells vitamins and minerals for brain heath to treat Anxiety Disorder,Bi Polar etc is IRRESPONSIBLE .

I now think that the doctors are IRRESPONSIBLE for giving antidepressants and NOT DOING LAB TESTS for deficiency's.

  • Thanks for sharing your advice and information on getting rid of acne and getting clear skin!

If you have any questions about acne or breakouts let me know... I'm sure I can help!

    Thanks!

  • i absolutely LOVE your videos. Can you do a video on a detailed what to eat for a raw food diet beginner? because I would love to start but I just feel like it's going to be hard and i don't know what to eat/make. Thanks! =)

  • @rawradianthealth hi natasha really inspirational stuff thank you. What was the raw food book you bought? Just curious! X

  • Hi Natasha,

Great video! I'm in a "transition" stage. I'm eating 50% organic since July and I got a juicer in September. I do physical summer work, so I ONLY work out in the winter. Since my diet change, I noticed something incredible. Last winter I would do 3 sets of 60 skipping rope as part of my workout. Now I'm doing 3 sets of 90! That's a 50% cardio improvement! No other variables changed. I'm also from Montreal and I would love to meet you and learn more!

  • Big Pharma does not want people eating healthily. Go to my channel & see a recent, extremely hard hitting interview on the absolute fraud & danger of vaccines -- & about a simple tool to viralize the truth about vaccines. The more people that know the truth, the harder it will be to force these vaccines on those of us that would rather put our trust in God, eating right, our own immune systems, natural remedies, faith & prayer -- rather than on Big Pharma & their veritable witches brews.

  • thanks for being such an inspiration!

    you are truly appreciated.

  • I have several problems with the title of this video. 1, acne (AKA "a white head") is caused by bacteria. The reason why their is a "white head" is because your body is fighting off the infection, the white puss is dead while blood cells that have "eaten" the bacteria that was sectioned off until they died. Food has no effect of acne.

2, depression is a psychological problem. Food has no bearing on it.

    3. Receding gums is caused again by bacteria. Brushing and flossing is best.

  • @BLHProductions

Maybe you should try a raw food diet and see how you look and feel.

  • @capricious71: A good diet and exercise is the best you can do, raw foods or any particular diet that limits something has less bearing then a balanced diet along with exercise.

That being said, you had nothing to say about what I originally posted, thus you likely know it to be true. If people can eat meat and look and feel good, then why have a certain diet if one doesn't have or need to?

  • @BLHProductions I wasn't avoiding any questions. I'm happy being vegetarian but have nothing against people eating meat, if that's what they want.

I think people can be healthy eating meat, as long as like you say, they exercise. Moderation, I'm sure you would agree.

I can only go on what I've found myself; that I look and feel very much better being vegetarian and better still eating raw.

The animal kingdom seems to manage eating raw. :)

  • @capricious71: May I ask, is this because you are increasing your overall activity while doing this or any other thing like going from a poor omnivore diet to a healthier vegetarian diet? Because this is a trap a lot of people fall into, they think A is caused by B when it is because of Q. I have been called dumb because someone has Asthma and got better soon after becoming a vegan even when I told him that this happens normally and that milk doesn't make Asthma worse even giving evidence.

  • @BLHProductions Hi. I've been vegetarian since 23 and I'm now 40. If anything, my overall acitivity has increased with age. I was originally an omnivore (in my case, I didn't care what I ate). I read something about trying vegetarianism and it worked for me.

Re Asthma and indeed allergies, my experience is that water helps. A lot. We are all chronically dehydrated. Sounds far-fetched but it worked for my hay fever and a friend's asthma. I just drank more water. Didn't cure it. Tea made it worse.

  • @herbal1971: Then I would say it is your activity and not necessarily your diet that has helped the most. As you said, when you were an omnivore you are poorly and lacto-ovo-vegetarianism is as healthy as omnivorism can be.

  • @BLHProductions Well, without the change of diet, I would never have had the energy to do the activity. :)

  • @herbal1971: Which is why we have professional and Olympic athletes who are omnivores right? While some are vegan and vegetarian, what you seem to suggest is that you can't be as active as you are now if you ate meat which I find hard to believe. I think you became empowered with your change of diet and started and got use to the point you are at now. I wouldn't say a vegetarian diet gave you any more energy anymore then I would if I did the same on an omnivore diet.

  • @BLHProductions I think you've missed the point of what I originally said. I said people can be healthy eating meat. They can also be healthy not eating it.

I never suggested that I couldn't be as active eating meat and find it hard to believe (I'm sorry you think I'm telling a lie).

As I've already said, find our for yourself if you haven't already.

I'm not interested in trying to convince you of anything. You started this conversation. I don't care what you eat. Good luck.

  • @herbal1971: I realize that, but you seem to give too much credit to your diet and not enough to eating right (across the board) and exercise. As you said, you went from a unhealthy omnivore diet to a healthier one. That could happen with any diet.

Actually, I believe you did. I simply responded to the video and you responded to what I said to someone else.

  • @BLHProductions Regarding milk. It's definitely mucus forming. I think that's widely accepted. Maybe that would make asthma seem worse. I don't have asthma, so I can't say.

What I've realised, though, is that Big Pharma cannot make money from natural remedies. We just have to find out for ourselves.

For instance, if I'm stressed, nothing works better than herbs for me. I really don't care what a big corporation would have me take.

  • @herbal1971: The article at { jacn. org/cgi/content/full/24/suppl_6/547S ] says that the idea that drinking milk leads to the production of mucus and the increase of asthma problems is false. This is likely due to the saliva becoming thicker when one drinks milk.

Natural is not always better, but most things come in part from nature. One example being insulin which use to have to come from animals but now through genetic engineering we can use bacteria.

Is it the herbs or your belief in them?

  • @BLHProductions To be honest, I don't give a damn what any scientific study says. I find out for myself. :)

As you mention insulin, you may want to Youtube "Simply Raw". Diabetics (yes type 1 as well) cured of diabetes cured with raw food and herbs.

If people ate naturally we'd hardly ever hear of diabetes.

Herbs work for me. That's all I can say. They contain all kinds of things. Peppermint, chamomile, rooibosch. It's wonderful stuff.

  • @herbal1971: Thus all the information that is pro-veg doesn't matter to or, thus, why did you choose to become one if you are saying you don't believe in the evidence science gives you?

Perhaps helped or dealt with but not cured. To be cured, their would be no need to watch blood sugar anymore. If I am on medication or herbs that makes my cold feel better, I am not cured.

Type 1 is genetic, type 2 can happen on any diet as all good is turned to glucose.

Again, do they work or is it a placebo?

  • @BLHProductions I'm not going to convince you of anything and like I said, I don't mind what you think but I would say just watch the film. I don't think you will, somehow.

They didn't have to monitor their blood sugar after the raw food stabilised it.

  • @herbal1971: I'm just say that any food can lead to diabetes. The only difference is that meat can have saturated fat in it (though so can a lot of veg foods) which is broken down into more glucose which can lead to diabetes, but so can a lot of raw sugar.

Which means they are in a sate of homeostasis, hopefully they won't eat or do something to throw it off.

  • raw fish?

  • Hello Natasha!

i have now since 1 & a half month turned vegeterian/Vegan almot no cheese or milk at all and 100% no meat, i am also not eating sugar, candy choclate, alot of fruits nuts vegetables, but i have got Acne wich is very very frustrating, and it wont go away i have had this for weeks,, i think it can be detox but now i am not shure :( what shall i do? go back to eat meat ? or more pizza to get my healthy skin back :D

    /Peace

  • @thysilence R u soaking and sprouting your nuts and seeds?

  • I am a vegetarian who eats mostly raw produce and sprouted nuts and seeds. I am not a vegan simply because there is no bio available source of vitamin B-12 in plant foods. I do not see it is as natural to take a synthetic supplement. Since you are a vegan I am sure you take a B-12 supplement. What is your comment on this? Isn't taking a synthetic supplement contradictory to the "natural" idea of a raw, organic and vegan diet?

Obviously I wish there was B-12 available from plant sources! Thanks

  • I have PCOS as well. How has going raw helped your PCOS?

  • Hi Natasha, I came across your videos, looking for a cure for receding gums. Found your video and I'm now on the raw diet for 10 days. Question is, how long before you started seeing a difference in your gums becoming normal again? Is it ok to eat the more acidic foods like tomatoes and oranges?

  • it sounds like wonderful way of eating.

  • The Raw Police are coming at 6:30 :D

  • Natasha, my dental hygienist also remarked how my gums have vastly improved since making dietary changes (to mostly raw).

  • Wow!! Amazing!! (: I've just started eating raw for the past WEEK... not very long but I'm already loving it! Thanks for all the inspirational videos!!

    Besos,

    Liz

  • so what's name of this book that you picked up. the one with the simple recipes? all the books i find are so tedious and i am such a busy person!!!

  • Raw ftw!

  • I bet you smoked a lot of green raw stuff in your youth

  • omg, I thought u were like in ur twenties, i've been watching your videos and I love how u always seen to find doctors that really influence your lifestyle!!!!

  • she has really nice hair

  • I'm not raw, but I'm vegan now, and I've definitely noticed an improvement in mood (as well as other benefits) since cutting out all that dairy I was eating when I was lacto-ovo. :) I do think eating a lot of raw food is good for us, and I have a salad most days, as well as raw wraps a few times a week, but I'm not sure if I'd ever want to give up all cooked food. I know you can do amazing raw dishes, but I'm pretty sure some foods are healthier cooked, like potatoes and tomatoes. :)

  • Natasha I love your hair

  • i went vegetarian over night, cold turkey (so to say haha) and it was a great decision for me. i'm excited to diet and eat healthier now too! its been a year and a half but going vegetarian does not mean that i'm healthier so i'm trying to start! thanks!

  • câline, j'ai perdu mon message à toi . . .oh well.

  • hmmm . . .j'ai écrit un commentaire et c'était pas posté . . .

  • very inspiring

  • I used to feel depressed as well. Pretty much since I was in my teens. I contribute it mainly to the refined sugars. I had cut out all candy for a while and ate a snickers. Completely depressed the next day. There is a good book called, "Sugar Blues," that covers this topic in detail.

  • Ur 33!!!!....WOW!!!! U LOOK GREAT, VERY ATTRACTIVE!

  • =) hehe

  • it was great hearing your story. this has given me inspiration to cute wheat and gluten out of my diet. to see if it will help my acne. I have previously cut yeast out of my diet because it has causd problems with my acne in the past. but still not fully wheat.

  • Your story is amazing! How very inspiring. =3

  • Thank you!!

  • @RawRadiantHealth would like to hear more in a new vid about how raw foods made you feel better mentally

  • oil, combination & sensitive!!

  • i really like your smile and your very very pretty =). Thanks for telling us your story. I have acne but i been changing my food diet... i noticed a little difference

  • Thank You :)

Keep going with your diet improvements-- it will help your skin!! :)

  • The book was by Natalia Rose-- Raw Food Detox Diet.

I will do an upcoming episode on receding gums. Continue eating raw foods, it will help, especially greens, fresh herbs and sea vegetables (dulse & kelp)

  • @RawRadiantHealth) so going vegan is the best way to reduce acne?

  • @Petchickensrule1 I know you're asking RawRadiantHealth, but I figured I'd offer my answer, too. I don't know if going vegan is the most effective thing you can do, but it seems to have helped me. I never had acne as a teen, and started getting mild acne more and more in my early to mid 20s: like maybe anywhere between 1-3 pimples every month. Now I'm 26, and since going vegan 2 months ago, I've gotten one tiny pimple that went away after 2 days.

  • Yayy you make me happy! Love the smile and you look so radiant! I've been battling acne for 8 or so years now and I just did a 3 day juice fast followed by a 1 day apple fast and had a green smoothie for breakfast. Thus begins my raw food journey, again. Ive been on and off raw for a few months now, and now I realize it's not just food that will cure you. Especially if you overeat or eat nuts and stuff all the time. It's a commitment to health, physically, and emotionally. We need to be positive

  • You are so right on!!!! I suffered really badly from acne for over a decade-- so I definitely understand where you are coming from. With acne I agree that there are many parts to the puzzle. Next week I'm going to do another episode on acne because I have found many tricks to stop it and heal the scars as well. Stayed tuned!!!

Congratulations on your raw journey, you're awesome!!!!

  • Well my dear you are Rawsome! :-)

And i'm really looking forward to that video.

    I have a lot of scarring :-s

  • I will definitely put a video together this week-- plus a few things that can help with the scarring. I am soooooo with you on this one and I assure you there is a way to clear up your skin.

  • Hello neighbor!!!! Yes, raw foods will clear your skin up in no time and infact your skin will glow like never before (plus any scaring will also clear up!). I think in the near future I'll do a video about skin, I had acne for over 15 years-- I've definitely learned some tricks over the years!

  • Hey,,,,great to see another raw foodie in Montreal...

    so cool....

    nice to meet you....

  • Awesome!!! Love connecting with Montreal raw foodies!!!!

  • What is the name of the book that had the simple recipes? I have been studying raw food for months but it seems like an insurmountable task... I haven't given up though.

  • Good on you AprilDawn!! The first book I read was Natalie Rose's The Raw Food Detox Diet & Raw Food Life Force Energy. The most equipment the recipes call for is a blender. I will look into other raw recipe books, see which ones have simple recipes and let you know on an upcoming episode.

    Have a great weekend!!
