im not dnr. chase people that ride on the streets? what trails? the dunes are wide open, not really 'trail' type. no, they won't chase u on the street. they'd call the sheriff's department.

WHAT TRAILS? The dunes are open! It isn't like there are 100 trails. There is an entrance ramp, exit ramp & the parking lot. That's it besides the DUNES! You have to come into the dunes legally before you can drive up the entrance ramp. The DNR doesn't really "CHASE" people up there. Most people are respectable and the DNR doesn't give TOO much problems to them. They're just doin' their job.

it depends on the day. if we get a nice south wind, it can be killer (steep), plus can have a nice sand drift and drop off. all depends on the wind and how many people are out there.
