holy shit, sorry to say but the debates in europe are generally far better. Usually people are very prepared and have concrete answers. What surprises me most is that all the vp and presidential candidates referring to their "personal" situations, like being a mom, a veteran, a dad, stuff like that, it is just ridiculous. Anyway Biden definately did better this debate. Palin was the one pulling the debate down when listening to her answers I felt that she was somewhat mentally challenged.

I will say that I have a slightly higher appreciation of Palin than before this debate, but with that said, she still had no real substance, or direct answers and mainly just stuck to her trained talking points.

In contrast, Biden gave an excellent debate performance and never once acted in any way condesending, or disrespectful of Palin, which is radically different from the way McCain was being dismissive toward Obama.
