Dude: The sixteenth century was the 1500s not the 1600s. People always get this wrong because they're stupid. If it's 100 AD all of the years from 1 to 100 were the FIRST century. Therefore, if it's 1600, we've completed 16 centuries of time, and all of the years from 1501 to 1600 are the 16th century, not the 15th century. Got it? The 1600s are the 17th century; the 1700s are the 18th cent; 1800s = 19th cent; 1900s = 20th cent; 2000s = 21st cent. Got it? Got it?

But you show a timeline in the video that shows years 1600-1635 and 1635-1665.

That would be the 17th century. The first century was the interval from the year 1 AD to the end of year 100 AD. The second century begins in year 101 AD to year 200 AD, third century 201-300 AD, etc. So the the 16th century is from 1501-1600 AD. I just don't want kids studying history to get confused.
