Saw one of these just today, and an osprey. Hearing the call was pretty cool, though playing this video just now thoroughly spooked my rabbit, who now seems to think my laptop is full of doom. Note to self - headphones..

One of these got up from a roadkill and flew at my car yelling at me day before yesterday! I about freaked but then s/he caught an updraft and was boosted out of the way. Whew.

I heard a red shouldered hawk (no mistake, kee-aah, kee-ah, very characteristic) in my backyard, and it was here in Europe, Mediterranean coast. How is it possible when the bird is American and don't migrate across the ocean?

@ThePaintermanful , jays imitate the red shouldered hawk call, I am 99.9 percent sure that is what you heard, the only other option would be that someone illegally released a red shouldered hawk in Europe.

I know this is a Red Shouldered hawk, but there are Red Tailed hawks that live in downtown Dallas atop the skyscrapers. You can see them early morning looking for rats or stray pigeons.
