this is not a van morrison tune. not even close, many great blues players have played this before morrison. THese would include ray charles

@lilbill73 actually although Ray Charles performed i don't think he ever recorded it. it was orignally written and performed by Big Joe WIlliams in the 1930s, and then made famous by Muddy Waters in 1955, and Van Morrison's Them in 1964. Van Morrisons recording of it is actually quite orignal compared to the traditional blues verison, and it is this which these guys are covering, however you are correct in that it is an old blues gem.
