I wonder if greenpeace realizes that the oil sands are owned by U.S. companies, and the canadian government has very little say in hat happens in the oil sands.And if you look at Iraq it should be obvious that nothing is allowed to get between the U.S. and its oil supply.

global warming isnt just going to cause warmer temperatures its unstabilising the somewhat constant weather paterns so it is going to cause more extreme weather events such as a early snow fall.

I believe it is the effect of abnormal ocean currents, causing flows of extreme temperature to different areas. Nevertheless, it is obvious that global warming will cause extremes.

because global climate warming will affect different regions differntly. some places will have more droughts, others more floods. in general weather conditions will become more extreme.

i am not saying that global warming is necessarily responsible for the snow in chicago now, but global warming does speed up climate change.
