  • Can you imagine if this was played on a daily basis?............

  • great real rap that you can't hear these days, chuck D is the best .....

  • The epicness of the rude sounds of the Bomb Squad cannot be denied. This track is too much for my tiny brain I'M GOING TO DIE AAAAAAUUUUUG-

  • Chuck D, best voice ever

  • Music hitting ya hard so i know you got soul !!!!!!

  • mais ce son claque ?? 20 ans déjà et je me retrouve toujours à cette époque !!!!

  • Public Enemy have also endorsed Nation of Islam Supreme Minister Louis Farrakhan, who has been controversial for his commentary which is often interpreted as being black nationalist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic.(from WIKIpedia)

  • In 89 PE opened for U-2 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. They came out dressed like Klans men wearing white robes. Powerful stuff for a white boy, who grew up on rock, to stomach but I did indeed like it.

  • BUILD! B>D>S!

    SF/OAKLAND/WORLDWIDE.

  • This is one of my favorite Public Enemy jams! recorded very badly however, hitting harder then a pimp with short money !

  • PHATTTTTTT!!!!!!!! Das war meine erste Platte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RESPECT!!! der CALMone aus der Grafschaft

  • 0:27 which Song is this sample?

    Please answer...

  • @TheScoore

The song is "Let's go crazy" from Prince's purple rain album

  • been getting better every single day since 1990. Factoid.

  • They were one of the baddest rap group ever. the best!!!

  • PE Forever!

  • I can't think of a rap song in the last 15yrs, can spank this cutt...

  • PUBLIC ENEMY #1

  • there is only one way to listen to this beat....full blast with a growl on your face :)

  • If your system ain't right,do not play this--has a bass drop many systems don't pick up....awesome.

  • when did this come ouT ???

  • in 1990

  • good year?

  • yea they 1st cd came out in 87, they 2nd came out in 89

  • 2004

  • The Grateful Dead of Hip Hop

  • @hagnuj why not????????

  • @gettinmonee

     Shout 2 thA Wood.

  • Classic Hip Hop. They blew open the doors for rap. Soundtrack Music FO SHO

  • Chuck D get his props, and he deserves them, dense and downright incredible ryhmes on display here... But the long lost art of a DJ bringing the shit deserves some attention. Terminator X just throws layers upon layers of samples on top of a dope beat on top of sparse but always solid turntable work. What ever happened to kick-ass DJ's in rap?

  • @shock1974 :it's the bomb squad that did that "sheet of sound" that PE is know for, this was when it was easy and cheap to sample, before the court cases

  • This is that type of music,,that makes me wanna get'it on! punch sombody in the fuckn face>>Militant/Rebel shiitt!

Ball your face'up, at the police! and just clash with those faggs..

  • sabotaged shell shocked rocked and ruled a day in the life of a fool,,,tremendous lyric

  • NO ONE rips it like public enemy!!

  • You got that right! Chuck D The Hard Rhymer!

  • Actually looked this up INTENTIONALLY, just cuz it was in my head. Thanx 4 having it!

  • quite possibly the greatest rap song ever recorded...

  • @markallenkellner That beat is sick and the Prince guitar is awesome. The Bomb squad changed rap. After P.E. everybody wanted a wider lifelike soundtrack to rap to...God Bless Public Enemy!!

  • don't believe the hype

  • That Prince guitar riff from Let's Go Crazy sets this track off!

  • Prince is SOOOOO protective of his shit so you know he is DOWN WIT PPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE
