Love the hair!!! I had micro braids along time ago. I was so afraid they would ruin my real hair. I only kept them in for a month. A friend of mine lost hair around the edges and hair line due to braids. It was so bad she had to wear a wig for a while. So even though their pretty. I'm always a little paranoid. :(

Hi! I love this look and I'm so excited to do this for homecoming. Will this work for micros that aren't done with human hair? I'm just worried that the curls will last all night. Also, I was hoping i could get curls that are kind of big/more wavy, french braid them, and tie it at the back. Do you think that would work? Also, what was the size of the flexi rods you used. @Danigirlloves 1st question really depends on you...you can do style night before...thats what I did. The style will not break your hair, but micros can if you dont take care of your natural hair. Staight micros will not be as full...the curls wont last as long either unless you put spritz on hair which will make it hard. Human hair prices range...check your local stores for prices. I dont know how much a professional will charge for such a style.

Its pretty :D i have braided hair thats the same length as where your curls end but i want to curl them like yours. Not sure if it will work :/ is there a different way of doing them because they are braids? also i dont want to iron my hair.

I will be going to the shop soon to get my micros done and I would love to have the curled style that you have explained in this tutorial, do you think they world curl the braids for me at the shop with the curlers or rods after they were finished if I requested it? @livelaughrockout91 its kinda hard to prevent it from frizzing especially if your hair is natural...I mean your hair is going to do what it do...you know. Put you can tied the hair down at night with a scarf to flatten out the friz and use a little aloe vera gel.

PhillyDiva do the braiders at the shop always knot off or tie off the braid? If not, how long do you think the micros will last?

@blkasn35 you have to reuest to have slip knots otherwise they will just braid the hair and leave loose....braids will last as long as you maintain...I cannot give you a length of time b/c each persons hair is different...I keep mines in for 8 weeks max.

for this look I used a brand called New York Bio which is low grade/ quality hair but I know how to make it work...the braids I have now is Milkyway hair and its nice.
