You don't see them very often because they are normally hard to drive. This one has a mechanical gyro in the rear wheels, so it is rock solid. That's the spinning noise you hear when it is standing still.
@phreaktor1 Ah ok , yeah i wondered how it was staying upright so well. that explains it. that's pretty cool still though. sounds like a lotta technology went into the build of that thing
@phreaktor1 Hi, nice custom work. I have the Venom VMX 450. Nothing but trouble with the gyro. The new steel gears help however now the center axle pin in the gyro breaks about every 10 minutes. A titaniam one would be the only solution. It looks like the dx450 has a solid gyro. However it has many other problems I see. Do you have any Idea who makes a good rc dirtbike?
The main issue with the gyro on this one one is that the one way bearing blows out easily. Haven't had any problems with the gears other than the fct that it is hard to get the bearing out when it has to be replaced, so you may end up buying a new gear too. There are only a few dirtbikes out there. The only other one I can think of is the ARX450. Overpriced, though... Thanks for watching and please subscribe! :)
