  • i always think its funny how calm Clint Malarchuk sets his stick on the goal at :50

  • So happy i won a autographed Twist jersey when i was a kid..

  • this is why teams were afraid to f*** with the Blues

  • @theroc5851 The twister definitely did steroids. He was a good fighter before the roids, but nothing like the monster he became afterwards.

  • teroc5851 ur a fucking GOOF Twist was no cheater if he was takeing steroids it hardly matters cuz they are not magic when sum one takes em they have to work hard eat rite or other wise there r no benefits all the steriods do is help the muscle tissue heal faster and therefore it is able to grow faster so get ur head out of ur ass and dont bad talk my friend Tony Twist otherwise ill be forced to fuck your old lady and ruin her for you peewee !!! lmao ur a goof !!!

  • @dawgsolid You are a fucking moron! This statement is so stupid it doesn't deserve a response, but i just had to write you and let you know what a fucking idiot you are. Everybody in the hockey world knows that the twister did roids, and before call someone else a "goof" maybe you should google steroids so you actually know what it does.

  • @theroc5851 What toilet did you pop out of? His father was a world class boxer and taught him how to scrap at a early age. He was extremely brutal when he fought and refused to do this tat for tat bullshit that you see these days. When he dropped the gloves someone was getting knocked the fuck out. Steroids...oh here we go. Whether he took performance enhancing drugs, I don't know. I do know he wasn't taking anything that the other top enforcers weren't. Probert??? Twist= undisputed KING

  • @TMWTim I highly doubt his Father was a world class boxer, he would have been famous if he was. I agree, whether Twist took steroids or not, he was still one of the best. Gotta disagree about him being better then Probert though! Personally I think Kocur was the best of all time

  • @TMWTim Sorry, forgot about Dave Brown, he was number 1 in my opinion

  • good scrapper, wouldnt call him no1 though. he got a beating from link gaetz, and personally, i think he didnt take on enough people.

  • Yea, Gaetz really did take it to Twist big time. However, didn't take on enough people? That is a really absurd comment. Twist has a great fight card, and I really think it's the other way around. A lot of guys didn't want to fight Twist in fear of being harmed.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 True, I did think about that cos Twist was feared big time. However I think its ridiculous that Mcsorley, Domi, Brashear, Simon was all supposedly scared of him, especially as 3 of them took on Probert in his prime, who was probably more feared then anyone else in history. I'd definitely fancy a prime Simon and Brashear over Twist.

  • I wouldn't put Brashear and Simon over Twist, he was just too strong. However, I think Brashear would fare a bit better.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 Both guys was left handed though, this would have been an big disadvantage for Twist, considering he uses his strength by using his left hand to restrict the right hand of the other guy. Its an shame Twist never fought these guys, could have been some big fights.

  • I understand they are both left handed. Thing is though, is Twist never had a problem with lefties. Take Laraque for example, he's a lefty, and Twist hammered him. Janssens is another southpaw, and Twist broke his face (Janssens also beat Simon twice). Same with Mike Peluso, and we all know what Twist did to him.

  • No one can arrgue, KING OF THE HAYMAKER! Steriods or not, u cant match that right!

  • lol what goalie was that..the one in the IHL?

  • It was Steve McKichan. It happended when Steve was playing for the Milwaukee Admirals. The worst hit that I have ever seen in my life, he was nearly killed. It puts the Bertuzzi/ Moore and Brasher/McSorley incidents to shame, the hockey world tried to hide it as best as they could, can't find it anywhere on the tube. But he has went on to coach in the NHL, I used to work for him, with his very successful goalie school "Future Pro Goalies" and he was my coach, when I played junior.

  • the one that twist was about to fight at 0:55 ?

    clint malarchuk.

  • yes

  • TWISTER was and still is the toughest fighter EVER in the NHL! Glad he will forever be a BLUE! Love ya Twister!

  • He was flat out the toughest man to ever play in the NHL. Unfortunate ending to his carreer.

  • Tony Twist 6'2" 240 lbs the man was a beast.

  • @bellbottomsnbeer lol steroids at their best

  • goddamn tony twist kicks ass

  • can you tell me where you got the Tony Twist Saskatoon Blades fight stuff? please write me to my inbox. thanks

  • Go blues.

  • im glad he played on the blues

  • to bad there aren't as many good fights like this these days, i hate how they added the instigator rule, that is so gay

  • P.S. you can put an asterisk on everones face that he crushed in with his steroid engorged arms!!!!!!!!!! he wont be goin to the hall of fame(just like bonds, mcguire, sosa etc...) but he sure left his mark!!!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA!!!need more of him and less prongers!!!

  • yes lets all bash him for steroids use. we all know thats all it takes to get big is steroids. youll never need to step foot in a gym when your on those. its all roids man. no hard work or training. now go on armchair critics, suck back some more alcohol

  • roids just delete body fat and give you extra extra protein

you still have to lift weights hard, you just get bigger quicker

  • from my knowledge/experience they've never "deleted" body fat really. i know some stuff can increase fat burning tho. but your right, you still need to workout hard to get results, its not just as simple as pinning your ass cheek or popping a pill and you get huge. if anything you workout harder with them because they allow you to recover faster and break through your GP so you can lift heavier and harder.

  • yea fat burning lol

the rest u said is true but what helps you recover quicker is damn i forgot what it was and i used to use it lol

but yea they are still illegal

  • It also gives you more energy and pump when working out. But yea, I hate it when people are uneducated about roids. The reality is, if you're a millionaire, you can probably take roids without much repurcussion because you can afford the good stuff and doctors who know what they're doing. Besides, most guys who are on stuff, are on stuff WAAAAAY more advanced than roids. Roids are tame compared to the other shit out there.

Also, all roids aren't the same.

  • He hit you or your helmet or whatever and just smiled afterwards, not that most guys were conscious to see it!!!!!!!

  • Twist used to chop players down like trees with those bombs he threw, helmet or not, he didn't care.

Every look close at his fists after a fight? Some nasty shit right there, because he would sacrifice himself to keep landing blows against a helmet or face

  • Twist is the toughest to play the game. Anyone that knows the sport knows that. look at the bombs this guy is throwin

  • wat a pussy

  • Twist would dominate Domi.

  • Lucky for Domi!!! That would have been a mess! OUCH!

  • the video wasn't about you

  • Tony Twist & Kelly Chase........the Bruise Brothers.

  • No fucking way that he just took Grimson down at 1:14. Shit.

  • PG Boy!!! One of the toughest!!! Thx for the memories Tony!!!!

  • yea, too bad he was all hopped up on steroids most of his career. so most of those memories you got are just like barry bonds records, they should have a little asterisk by them.....lol

  • Half the NHL was on roids in these days.....no suprise to u i hope!! Still one tuff dude!

  • Excellent music choice!!! 5 stars!

  • twist is a BEAST!!!!!

  • Twists is so different then the kids playing in the NHL now when it comes to fighting. I always liked him because after they fell to the ice he still was beating the crap out of them, unlike young players today they just fall and are done.

  • yeah but whats the point of punching them in the face if they are knocked out they wont feel it but yeah ya gotta point

  • agreed!! he always gets the last punch no matter what! & when he's been on his back he still throwin em ,always. guys now just dont have that raw fighting sytle anymore. some say no fair, but, we all remember old ways!! & thats the sht

  • hey geek..twist only hit helmet....he threw blind punches that only looked good to twerps like you....fact......

  • fact "He broke helmets" Fists of steel....it is a good thing or there would have been a lot of really hurt men in the NHL!!!

  • Twist is a fucking legend.

  • twist was the best

  • the first vid was a fluke. the only reason the dude went down wuz because his pads came off

  • viva la blue

  • excellent stuff nitris, twist wuz fookin relentless,1 of the very best enforcers ever...

  • Go Blades
