  • wait, so there's no way to put an LS-32 on the TE stick without buying the S-plate? so I HAVE to buy LS-32-01?

  • What size are the screws to mount the JLF/LS to the TE mounting bracket.

  • Good video. I needed this

  • hey shin what is the model for the octogonal restrictor plate for the te and can i use it for the stock joystick.....

  • Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate.

I just ordered one myself for 5 bucks.

  • thanx kaikou

  • never mind. found out how easy it is to change it.

  • Hey shin,

do you have any videos that show how to install the gt-y gate on the TE stick? I really do not like the sqare gate it comes with.

  • hey shin,

i want to put a ls-56 on my TE so which mounting plate should i use for ls-56 to fit on the TE stick, or do i have do somekind kind of drill mod.

  • thanks ShinJN, very informative video.

  • Hey Shin, if I get the JLF Joystick to replace the stock one. as I saw on Lizard Lick. I can make the Bell stick become an american style stick by switching it to the Bat style? and it'll feel like a competition style stick???

  • The joystick will still be looser than a competition stick, but you do gain the height. If you have big hands or are used to American style sticks, the bat top attachment is be a nice addition.

  • japanese joysticks, even with bat tops, dont feel the same as "american" sticks, of which there are a variety. i suggest you got an octogonal (gt-y) gate

  • hey shin quick question will the jlf tp 8t fit in the se?

  • Yes.

  • thnx much awesome tuts

  • On the LS-32-01--you still need to rotate the PCB to match the stock stick, correct??

  • Correct.

  • Yo, I bought a JLF-TP-8YT Sanwa which comes with a mounting plate for SE stick

So this means I won't have to diassemble anything because it'll have the mounting plate on it already right?

  • Once I get an SE in my hands, I'll put up videos.

As for the questions about other parts fitting, if I had them in hand, I would have included them in the video. I don't plan on ordering parts I don't need, but if some would like to donate or loan parts, we can set something up.

  • Thanks a lot for the insight man. Can you tell me if you can use LS-56 or LS - 33 mounting plates?

  • The LS-56 will not line up with any holes. However, the LS-33 mounting plate has the same mounting holes as the JLF one. So you can use the LS-33 mounting plate. The LS-33 has a real short shaft, so putting that in your joystick is no recommended.

  • damn sooooo much information.... annd i can't seem to find my pen :(

  • That would be a similar concern with K-sticks as well. Could you answer that question please.

  • if i were to put an ls-32-01 in a se stick, would the 5 pin connector cord reach all the way to the prongs of the stick?, i seen in an image that the cord looks pretty short( and to my knowledge if i were to put an ls-32-01 i would need to rotate the pcb 90 degrees, so the prongs would be next to the buttons) thanks in advance

  • As long as you rotate the PCB so the connector faces the same direction as the stock joystick, you'll be fine.
