  • i have a question ive been using 2003 for long time enough to call my self pro but, tell me how can i reduce the buffering, cos when i add 3d it lags like hell i can't do anything!!!!!! normal second lasts unliest 10 how can i prevent that please answer today i don't have a lot of time :OOO

  • @mcSNAKe187 -- there are four things you can do: 1. lower the show's resolution to a lower or lowest setting: Slide show> Set up > Slide show resolution. While down there, turn on graphic acceleration. Upgrade your computer's RAM and/or processor speed. There are two processors: graphics and your main chip. Cleaning/defragging/optimizing hard drive can also help. Finally, screen record the PPT and present in one of the compressed video formats.

  • @peakdavid thx very much for the reply but im sorry to inform you that none of it works, i mean my hard drive everything is defragmented in place and it rules my machine is great and i tried on every other computer still don't work, but adjusting resolution didn't help neither and i need my work till next month please help it is really urgent only think i havent tried was that graphic acceleration and i don't know how to that please help me with that or find another solution as a reward ill sub

  • @SNAKe187 -- if you've optimized your machine and still getting lag, the news ain't good. The hardware acceleration control is on the panel at: Slide Show > Set Up. Down at the bottom. You're using a version of PPT that is 8 yrs old so your machine is probably that old, meaning a processor of less than 2GHz, RAM 512 or less & a mid-level ATI graphics card. Machines back then were rarely configured for 3D. Work around is to screen record the PPT, then manually remove the lag frame-by-frame.

  • @peakdavid no man now i use 2007. now, and i got everything solved doing photos in photoshop now text n everything cos there i have got no problem!!! thx 4 your help man ;))) and remember it is for a project that must be done in ppt must not be recorded!!! thank you very much!!!

  • Thank you so much for your detailed PP tutorials! Is it ok (copyright) to use images from G images?

  • @loui0008 -- depends on the image and your use. Some have copyright restrictions regarding all uses or some uses. Many images you get in the results are copyright free and you see a lot of. It's always best to make sure you know what permissions you need for the use you will make of it.
