The title is the first indication of the meaning. When you long for someone to say something, you're angry that they've become so disaffected. 1:43 is symbolic... but I don't know what it has to do with the theme of a capitalist consumer culture that the film seems to be mocking. 2:09 is important: information overload. 4:17... a "return to nature" sort of thing?

this video is just brilliant. it uses other things besides "hi-def" or "quality" animation to get an emotion out of the audience... Like in some scenes have a light glow on everything, or all of the strange dreams that they have...

my absolute favorite scene is at 08:27. It is a really good use of the animation when the mouse steps back from the door and everything fades away, like his world is falling apart.
