The garbage on the radio is one of the main reasons the Ipod took off. What kind of lock step drones want to listen to someone else's choices? I can see AM but who put AM on devices like these?

The radio, no matter how your views are, is still one of the main ways that new and old artists get their music out to the public. Without it, I doubt that the majority music made popular today on iTunes and Walmart shelves would be sold at such high rates. Who would go out and just by music without having heard the song or a bit of the artist's other work? If you truely understand how Ipod took off, then you wouldn't have said this comment.
