@WesternRiding1999 I had searched online for days on ebay contacting sellers and making them measure the gullet because each listing that I saw had different bar measurements posted. That saddle was listed as full quarter bars and I didn't believe her either so she sent me the factory paperwork and warranty and serial # via email, and also attached a photo of the gullet with a ruler and it did indeed measure correctly so I purchased it and it fit Ace perfectly!
@HannahTheAmazing1 She was learning how to get down on the move and I didn't want to take the chance that she would get her foot caught in the stirrup and get drug. She has great balance and can sit a horse without the stirrups with no problems.
Lol, did you notice the lil' girl has no stirrups and the boy had those little kids sturips. Lol But he is younger. GO DESTINY AND DYLAN!! Are these your kids?
I love this video! Those kids are so determined! my little cousin Tyson(3 yrs old) isn't that determined! he fell off my barrel racer, Walker, 5 times and only got back on because i told him if he didn't Walker would never let him ride him again and if he tried to ride Walker, he's eat him...= ] lol. but it worked! lol. Proud of all the little kids doing this stuff!
oh man they are so good. THe little girl lol keeps losing her stirups but keeps riding. And the boy holy cow he is so cute and a great little rider. they both are good!
Thank you! They started riding in the saddle with us around 4-6 months old, and by 1 year old they were steering the horse with the reins! By 2yrs old they were riding by themselves! And I do mean by themselves, they could neck rein or plow rein on our well broke rope horses and they went with us everywhere on horseback - to parades, rodeos, campouts and trail rides all over Oklahoma!
They joined a local round-up club this May and started to learn the goats and the barrels. Actually, we felt bad that we hadn't started them earlier, we were too busy having fun playing with them and going to our own rodeos!! Their class is 4-6yr olds and they were behind the others because we didn't start them as 4yr olds! But they ride so much better than the others that they quickly overcame them! AND they had to make their own horses - we didn't have an automatic playday pony for them!!
You can see their progress by looking at their video "Our first junior rodeo starring Destiny and Dylan" which was in June and their video "Oklahoma jr rodeo (4-6yr olds)..." which was in July! I'll be putting up their August rodeos soon and the finals are September 26th & 27th.
if she has a circle s barrel saddle then how does it fit her quarter horse ace because i believe i saw it and it said semi quarter horse bars
