This movie was beautiful, amazing, and FANTASTIC! Princess Tiana is so strong, bright, and charismatic, and Prince Naveen grows so much from the start til the finish! I must say that these are my favorite prince & princess EVER in a Disney film!

Race aside, it's a GREAT film. Just as it should be. And EVERYONE should check it out! I think anyone would be proud of this movie! It's totally for everyone! She's not just a "Black" Princess, she's a great role model for young girls EVERYWHERE!

Technically no one ever says the Prince's ethnicity, but it's implied that his parents were royalty from two different nations (thus making him mixed). Naveen is an Indian name and his accent is some very bizarre blend.

Long story short, you're right, there's more important things in the movie than the ethnicity of the prince. Like how adorable he and Tiana are together. Aww! XD
