  • I'm trying to decide on 1 or 2 albums to get myself. Tempted by The Big Express, but with every other song, I keep changing my mind! There are so many that are absolutely brilliant on so many different levels!

  • great prdouction...it seems that this album could it have been made anywhen not specifically in 80's

  • Todd's production is awesome on this album! Pity they didn't reprise it!

  • I'm dying to hear more. God these guys are great.

  • mood for a rainy day...

  • Whoever uploaded these seems to have applied a rather abusively loud compression

  • I forgot how these songs make me feel.

  • The best Colin song on this masterpiece of an album.

  • this song is so wonderful and full of insight & truth.

just another day for xtc.. all love to them!

"and i'm getting older too ..

but i don't wanna die like you ..........."

  • This tune is great in this album.

  • Classic. Album Produced by Mr Todd Rundgren.

  • Todd is Godd

  • I've just discovered XTC and i've listening to this album the last week. I think it's perfect. What of their albums do you recommend to listen next? Someone help me please!

  • Well the two LPs after this classic will do ya well. "Oranges & Lemons" & "Nonsuch"

Early XTC classics "Black Sea" & "English Settlement" are holding up very well as the years pass. Ahhh College Daze

  • Thank you very much! I will dig 'em all!

  • ...and of course you really have to check out XTC's alter-ego band, The Dukes of Stratospheare... 25 O'Clock is an incredible album.

And a big thanks to FallingDown08 for posting all of these Skylarking songs.

  • Thanks! I'll check it out too!

  • Get The Big Express and Drums and Wires too

  • "Skylarking" is a great album. It is this album.

  • Drums & Wires is imho the fiest XTC album...but what do i know. English Settlement is also mighty fine.....and don't forget Waspstar.

  • I've wondered for years and years how these guys are so amazing - best lyrics - best instrumentation...beautiful guita...I love love love them. The End.

  • I remember bying this album because of Dear God only to find out the Vinyl version had Mermaid Smiled in it's place. It did not matter because a couple hours later, I had 6 or 7 stand out tunes from a grand LP

  • shivers inside....

  • skylarking is an awesome album

this song is one of the best on the album

  • Mines too!

  • This is one of my all time favorites!

  • this song has been stuck in my head for the past few days, but it's one of those songs I'm glad to have stuck in my head.
