in my opinion this was the last great AFI album! of course people are welcome to disagree with me if they happen to be into their new garbage. this is just my opinion. anyway way great album from a great band.

Sing the Sorrow is a great album, but it doesn't get enough credit. Not even At the Drive-In's "Relationship of Command" draws level to it, and that's a damn good album. This album just has so much raw emotion. The songs flow and fit together like a work of art and the tone of the instruments is just so earthy and unlike anything I've heard. And come on, you gotta admit "This Time Imperfect" is an extremely haunting song.
This ENTIRE album needs to be made into a movie. Period. Something post-human civilization, cyber-punk with Steam punk and Samurai elements. As if to mix Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Afro Samurai all together. Each song sounds as if it could be a chapter/episode. It's even got an introduction and outroduction. So, to make something of this would be perfect. That is, what I think at least, lol.
@TheShplaa Your dad, I take it wasn't a very good student in his literature classes. If he was he may be able to come up with something a bit more eloquent to say about them... Seriously, if he doesn't like them it's ok, they're not for everyone, but why do people always have to use that word? You know the one I'm talking about, I won't bring myself low enough to repeat it. It's first of all overused, and boring. Second it's just unnecessarily mean and harsh...
