Vaginal sex seems to help with the cramping. Also, I find pads and tampons to be inconvenient and unreliable, so I have switched to bladder protection underwear. Bladder protection undergarments don't leak, slip, or fall out. They have amazing absorbancy for all day protection. They completely stop any staining of my clothes. And I just toss them when they become too saturated to be of any further use. I highly recommend using Depends brand for this. :-)
