hey coolhand, im looking at a bike similar to yours. how do you like your handlebars? any discomfort on longer rides / how tall are you (im 5' 8" and wondering if 16" bars would be too high)?

Burly brand has a nice drop kit for a decent price if you really want to lower your ride and have some quality parts to do it with. Hows those 16 inch apes treating you?

You said in one of your comments that you wanted to chop the fender and put a bigger tire on it. How are you able to go with that fender and not cutting the struts? I'm just curious I love the street bob and would love to get one with a 200 tire on it

Hi Coolhand. One more question about Your ape. Did You have to drill two holes in central in ape to let in the wires or the ape is already prepare in central for wires to put them inside?

You need to order bars that are already prepared for internal wiring.

How much do You have to spend for all cables? Did You buy it from HD dealer? or from Dragbar specialist? Reg. Sed

I purchased through the dealer and they did the install. $560 in labor (8 hours), $50 brake cable, $38 clutch cable, $40 wire extension kit, $20 idle cable, $20 throttle cable. I also went with the turn signal relocation kit $65.

Yes, tilt the bars back slightly until you get to a comfortable riding posture. Never rode with ape hangers before and I am really enjoying the look and feel of the ride.
