The audio quality of this recording is in fact not very good, I'm sorry for that. But albeit the orchestra was not very big I can assure you the basses were there!!! Anyway the music is so marvellous that I think it overcomes the imprecision...

Beautiful piece of music. The adagietto by mahler from Symphony no.5 is without doubt a masterpiece.
