They're older parents whose 17 year old daughter gave her life to save the boy she loved. They fell into depression until God gave them a little boy, even though the wife wasn't of correct age to have children. The boy had troubles as a newborn & after years of surgery, the scar tissue on his heart forms a cross, despite the fact that that's not how the doctors made the incisions. <3

@DoYouLoveDoctorWho I read something interesting last night on why God 'lets' bad things happen. It basically said that God made us with free will, and part of that free will is that we can choose to hurt others. If God had made us unable to hurt others we wouldn't have true free will.
For the average person the word REPENT has a negative vibe attached to it, the way its used in TV and in the movies ... its "way too over the top or serious" For the average person going to church trying to improve their life its like the media has taken that word from their repertoire against the devil in them ... the word translated means to "change your mind" THAT'S IT! its not "way too anything" so when you have urges of the flesh (anything?) just repent and do what spirit wants instead

i stumbled upon this song tonight as i try and figure why God could make children be in poverty and let families suffer. What I did today to a family because of my profession shouldn't have happened. Yes I believe in God but so ofter i wonder why he would do such things like this...My heart aches for what the homeless and abusive children are going through in my community and schools.

@derksme1 God doesn't "make" children be in poverty, and doesn't "let families suffer" any more than you and I. Children suffer in poverty because of corporate and government greed, or lazy or selfish parents as a few examples. Usually, when one looks at the cause of most suffering, the root cause is either human greed or hunger for control somewhere.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm actually a Christian. It's just, God is all powerful, and could stop it, but he doesn't. We may never know why he lets bad things happen - but we have to trust God has a purpose for them, and in the end, he gets glorified. That's kinda the whole point of faith.

Bro while our God is loving our God is also a just God. Everything and anything we could ever do will never atone for the sins we have committed. Jesus on the cross is the ultimate act of true love. It had to be a pure sacrifice the only pure sacrifice was the perfect son of God.This act of pure love took all of the just and fair wrath of God on that cross so that we can present ourselves on the day of judgement spotless because of the blood of Christ. God loves you and so do we.

In the old testament it was only the High Priests who could atone for the sins of the people by killing a lamb, and it was only the priest who could enter the Altar of God. @MrMick73 God didn't "require" Jesus to die, Jesus volunteered to "give" His life. Because of His sacrifice, God can forgive our sin by saying "forgiven" when we sincerely ask for forgiveness and repent of our sins. I don't worship a dead christ on a cross, I worship a living Christ who got off of the cross. You won't find any dead bodies hanging on a cross in my church.

@MrMick73 I understand you are looking for a reason to hate our God. You are taking our beliefs out of context. This is NOT what this means at all. During the first communion drinking the wine and eating the bread was just a symbol of what was to come. His body would be broken for us (breaking bread) his blood would be spilled for us. Jesus is God. We may not understand why he had to die on the cross to give us a clean slate but he did and he died for us.

I think God had Jesus killed so that sins would be forgiven. I cant believe my parents told me that when God killed people and jesus that it was good. The reason that Jesus was able to die for our sins was because he was not a man, not as you are. He was born of Mary but was directly from God Himself. @MrMick73 The thing about God sacrificing Jesus that makes the difference is the Trinity. The Trinity means that God and Jesus are the same person. In sacrificing Jesus, God was sacrificing Himself. And don't forget that Jesus died willingly. Matthew 26:53 says, "Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?"
If he wanted to, Jesus could have slaughtered his attackers, but instead he chose to sacrifice Himself for us.

But God indeed did pour the fierce judgement of His wrath that was meant for us upon His beloved Son. This was the cost of our wretchedness, that a spotless Lamb had to take our place. @MrMick73 Unfortunately, when God gave us free will, that included the will to do bad as well as good. Hitler's massacre was nothing short of an abomination. He had nothing to do with the forgiveness of sins. Christ is different because He is the Son of God. This willing sacrifince of Jesus was so that we can rejoin God in Heaven. Nothing we do could ever be worthy because we sin. Christ was perfect so He alone was worthy.

@MrMick73 Well you see, in some countries they don't believe in God. They are called Persecution countries, like China. So when they find people talking about the word they arrest them. Well back then when Jesus was alive they killed them. Their king didn't like that Jesus was spreading the word and calling himself the son of God. So the King sent his guards to get Jesus so they can kill him. It is good because if you die because of you die of your beleifs of Jesus!

Lord, I need your help. You are always there for me telling me that you are there. You always give me what I ask for. I don't know why, but you are with me always, and I believe in you. This sin that I struggle with is separating me from you. I cant see you because of the dirtiness of my soul. Cleanse me through your body and blood. Every time I try to stop, I fall down again. @sambrittney None of us deserve His forgiveness but His grace makes us worthy. His precious blood covered all of our sins. He is faithfull to forgive us as long as we are sincere when we ask for His forgiveness. It doesn't matter how we feel, He felt that we were worthy enough to die for. The devil is a LIAR and wants us to feel unworthy. Stand on His promises and trust Him to do just as He says He will. Hang in there.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm actually a Christian. It's just, God is all powerful, and could stop it, but he doesn't. We may never know why he lets bad things happen - but we have to trust God has a purpose for them, and in the end, he gets glorified. That's kinda the whole point of faith.

The whole 2012 thing 'end of the world' I would only beleive if there was a blind spot in history and the Aztecs actually got a weird vision of the rapture in 2012, and felt like they couldn't tell anyone that, that was the reason for the end of the world. Bro while our God is loving our God is also a just God. Everything and anything we could ever do will never atone for the sins we have committed. Jesus on the cross is the ultimate act of true love. It had to be a pure sacrifice the only pure sacrifice was the perfect son of God.This act of pure love took all of the just and fair wrath of God on that cross so that we can present ourselves on the day of judgement spotless because of the blood of Christ. @MrMick73 God didn't "require" Jesus to die, Jesus volunteered to "give" His life. Because of His sacrifice, God can forgive our sin by saying "forgiven" when we sincerely ask for forgiveness and repent of our sins. I don't worship a dead christ on a cross, I worship a living Christ who got off of the cross. You won't find any dead bodies hanging on a cross in my church.

@MrMick73 I understand you are looking for a reason to hate our God. You are taking our beliefs out of context. This is NOT what this means at all. During the first communion drinking the wine and eating the bread was just a symbol of what was to come. His body would be broken for us (breaking bread) his blood would be spilled for us. Jesus is God. We may not understand why he had to die on the cross to give us a clean slate but he did and he died for us.

The reason that Jesus was able to die for our sins was because he was not a man, not as you are. He was born of Mary but was directly from God Himself. @MrMick73 The thing about God sacrificing Jesus that makes the difference is the Trinity. The Trinity means that God and Jesus are the same person. In sacrificing Jesus, God was sacrificing Himself. And don't forget that Jesus died willingly. Matthew 26:53 says, "Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?"
If he wanted to, Jesus could have slaughtered his attackers, but instead he chose to sacrifice Himself for us.

Well back then when Jesus was alive they killed them. Their king didn't like that Jesus was spreading the word and calling himself the son of God. He is faithfull to forgive us as long as we are sincere when we ask for His forgiveness. It doesn't matter how we feel, He felt that we were worthy enough to die for. If Jesus were alive today, he would be in the KKK. Why? Because ♥Christ was racist.♥ we know Jesus was racist from the bible. We know that Jesus hated Canaanites as seen in Matthew 15:21-26. A Canaanite woman comes to Jesus and begs him to heal her child. Jesus calls her a dog and that he was not sent to help her kind of people, he eventually does heal the kid, but only because the woman would not leave him alone. We know that Jesus hated Samaritans. Also, he never went to Asia. Why? Racism.

@mistuhDavecash We have no authority to question God. He owns the answer to dat question but we should never question God because his plan is the best. Why bother yourself over such insignificant question? Dats why God sent us as Disciples to spread his word. By the way, God is not racist because if he was, he'll not be healing or answering prayers of those from other ethnicity. He's Savior to "all" no matter the ethnicity you fall in. I'm praying 4 u.

Jesus did exactly what His Father told Him to do, He healed those who His Father told Him to heal; and after living a life with absolutely no sin, He died on the cross; even for those who crucified Him. If Jesus really hated Samaritans, why then, did He tell The Parable Of The Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37? And who are you to refer to Jesus Christ as a racist? Do you presume to be His judge? If you have such a low opinion of Christ, why listen to this kind of music?
