Those were the good ole' days of metal. I don't know why these band today refer to themselves as "metal" because this type of music defined the 80's not the 90's or the 21st century. Whether it's called NuMetal or whathever, I think the music of today should find it's own identity and a befitting name that characterizes it. I met Vivian in 1987 (Whitesnake era) but he was very nice and signed an autograph for me on the back of a Marshall silver jubilee poster.
