Despite what most people believe, these actually DO work. I prefer shock inductions, but these are good as well. Once m friend was having a rotten day, I mean he was borderline depressed. I convinced him to let me hypnotise him and within two minutes he was refreshed and happy.

But it is a myth that hypnosis is some for of control over another person. View the stage hypnotist as having no more power than "Simon Says" because that is the extent of the stage hypnotists power. Yes... And the truth is never fun when we first hear it. But the clarity afterwords is the enlightenment we all truly want to see and hear. All I offer is the truth. And what he does is control through intimidation, putting people on the spot to perform. It is a form of abuse and manipulation. But hay... we all have to start somewhere. Facts based on what you ask? Try living without the need to make money and then it becomes very clear what intent really means. Yes I'm VERY trained.

Ah, the old "abuse and intimidation"....

As you can see from ALL my clips there is a combination of entertainment and clinical hypnosis. Hypnosis is not something anyone DOES to anybody, it is a natural phenomena within all of us that we experience each day. A clinical hypnotist uses this to heal (as in my other clips) a stage hypnotist demostrates the phenomena becasue it is entertaining (Just like hollywood creates movies demonstrating anger, happiness, humor, fantasy).

Most people are like me, and are just interested in Hypnosis because it's kinda cool, the whole idea of it... so they have an opportunity to see what it's like for themselves, so they volunteer... does it work? I dunno, I've never been hypnotized. Are they bullying people into it? Hell no, they're taking volunteers, and the people don't seem to look like they are being bullied to me ;)

Not angry, I have my facts because I can see it very clearly right in front of me. I do see the education end of it. I'm sure he's a great guy without ego which is needed to really do the work. He and his coworker Richard, offer Hypnosis training, that's where this video clip comes from. Most posting here won't get this as anything like a" party trick," whatever that means, as you can see from their posts. But for Hypnotists, it might be the way their work gets done in the future.

A person cannot get "stuck" hypnotized. They wold either wake up or fall asleep there is no other possibility

all of these rapid inductions have something to do with a rapid jerk of the inducted person's arm. probably a muscle triggered reflex of the mind or body in general...

Not even close, in fact that kind of jerk would be dangerous. It is misdirection, confusion, eye fixation and loss of equalibrium that lead to instant trance. In fact, a "jerk" is actually unescessary. See my video of GENTLE Speed-trance

The arm pull also gives the impression that the hypnotist has control or the arm and gives him or her leverage to encourage the person down. As said, it is not a relaxing muscle reflex but it has more than one effect on the subject.

Hypnosis is real.

I learned it first from my mother-in-law, a clinical psychology Ph.D, and took my cert from a well-known school.

I love to go to coffee shops and hypnotize random people; it builds your hypnosis practice 10,000 times faster than handing out cards, and the freebies leave people utterly stunned, amazed and refreshed.

I know it scares you a little, but let your ego grow even stronger now and reaffirm your self-protective banter.

Do people actually fall asleep in all these vids like this one and other similar vids? Sometimes it feels to me that it would be impolite not to fall asleep when the instructor says you need to relax and fall asleep, so I would probably do the same thing these people are doing but I would be doing so consciously, so I wonder if for most people, their mind actually does turn off & they really pass out?
