  • how much does it cost?

  • theres no way that would fit a scale model plane, glider maybe but i doubt it

  • i should try this in a micro sct

  • I do love my full size motor cars in full size boats

    but i do love rc

butt my full size cars in bouts make me money everyday like going to work in fishing can do that with rc ? lol

  • how much does one cost

  • What is that round copper thing on the shaft when your reving it for ?

  • @98CiViC0301 that is a flywheel they are used to keep rpms down the just add weight

  • where can i get one

  • @jameshoffmandude you would have to make one they are not availible to buy [trust me ive tried]

  • It is a modified cox .010 I have a few original cox .010 engines this looks like it had an airbleed throttle these engines are amazing

  • Just looks like an old COX engine with a carb on it.

  • what does driveline system and engine cost?

  • i want that engine in my HZ champ lol

  • What song is this ??

  • could you build me a throttle like that if so how much

  • where do you buy this

  • song?

  • I looked on ebay one time and last time I checked there were COX .49 for around $15-$30 an engine. Its clearance stuff since it went down.

  • ah, i think its leaking a little back there....

  • I heard cox went out of business. Someone should make engines like this again. any other companies make engines this size anymore?

  • @rockandrollmetalhead yeah it's sad I did buy a teedee 0.09 for $29.99 before they went though fast airplane engine for it's size. Brushless is killing all nitro sadly :/

  • how can i buy this? price?

  • would be the sickest thing ever in model building

  • Thats not the worlds smallest production nitro engine, because I have a .07

    Bunch of lies...

Its in my crappy Exceed RC Blur though...

And I have a .26 in my Losi Raminator. :P

    What a difference.

  • how would u get a fuel tank???? like seriously how long would it run for 1-2 minutes?? but still thts pretty freakin cool

  • hey did you make it or, did you buy it and where?

  • sell it all to me

  • I definitely smelled a miniature RC car. Bravo!

  • this shit is fucking crazy im so stoned right now

  • 0:37 holly shit i wan one

  • so crazy how man has harnesed such power in a small engine.

  • where and how much for the axle?

  • Very impressive. Is it possible to see a running cox powered rc car?

  • i need that message me back with details

  • and not a single running video.

  • wat glow pug does it use, cause i have a nitro engine like that one but you cant take off the glow plug.

  • chirulo!!

  • @salisisasi can you say this in english? thanks.

  • leaking~

  • lmao slap it into a xmod

  • wow, that does 35,000 rpm, my HPI nitro F4.6cc only does 3,00rpm, and thats in my savage :P

  • @SuperAiden101 35,000 rpm sorry

  • @SuperAiden101 It's true, the smaller the engine size is physically the higher the RPM potential, (less rotating mass= stronger parts for same size). I had it set much lower in this video, I was trying to get it to idle as slow as possible.

  • @SuperAiden101 Actually the f4.6 will run at 32,000 rpm. not 3,000 if thats what u meant

  • @NITROrcKing007 i ment 32,000

  • @SuperAiden101 3,00 is wrong you will be doing about 25,000 at revs and about 2000 on tickover.

  • @cod4madass i ment 32,000 rpm for hpi engine does

  • @SuperAiden101 actually your savage idles at about 2-3000rpm. probably maxes out at about 30,000rpm. Some high preformance .21 size motors will do over 40,000

  • @SuperAiden101 actually your savage does about 2-3000 rpm at idle and about 30,000max ... some high performance car motors do 40,000Rmp or more ...

  • @SuperAiden101 your savage should do 30,000

  • @SuperAiden101 a savage X 4.6cc will do about 36,000 rpm.

  • @SuperAiden101 if your 4.6 only revs too 3000 theres a problem.... thses engines have 2.9hp @ 32,000RPM... i have 3 of them......

  • @upinsmoke656 ye, there would be a problem, it doenst rev to 3000 it revs to 32,000 i didnt type the 2 by mistake

  • @SuperAiden101 Bigger = less RPM

    most .30s pull about 30k

most small blocks (.12-/.21) pull close to if not more than 40k.

  • How did you make the throttle system?.. :)

  • @FalthProductions Unimat Lathe, drill press, digital caliper.

  • When I click on a vid like this one I wanna hear the engine running and not a redneck punk tune!

  • It's not redneck or punk, it's called rock and roll. Check out the other video on my profile "unedited" you can hear all the engine you want, enjoy and lighten up.

  • it has some anal seepage

  • OMG i should put one in my slot car

  • put into xmod!!!!

  • lol nirto slot car

  • sounds like a numatic tool...

  • wqhere can i get one

  • My cousin Dalton has one of those on a Baby Ringmaster C/L plane. He can't get it running.

  • dam ive seen some rlly small engines but thats the smallest.what size engine is it?.010?

  • i would love to build one of those right now how much and where can i get it

  • 1:18 would roll at any kind of bump

  • 1:18 Lol wtf?

  • @kondziaaa123 Wonder how it can turn :S with al that weight from the tyres

  • does it have a centerfugal clutch ?

  • yes it does

  • were do u get the engine from and how much torc and how much dose it cost

  • what is that LMFAO at 1:18 just..........what is that lol

  • how did you put the throtle control on that engine pls reply

  • the carb was made out of billet aluminum on a lathe

  • wow so there is no way that i can make mine like that?

  • anything more on the car. and what diffs are they,or are they home brew?

  • when are you gonna finish this thing?

  • is 1:34 a gearbox in the sense that u can change gears. does smth like this exist in the rc world, cause i haven't seen any yet

  • @bionichb

yes, MagnetoRc has the 3 speed transmission that actually can shift on the fly,

  • yes it shifts while driving, just like the real thing. 3 speed forward, neutral and reverse. it can be setup as manual shift from transmitter or auto shift by using a small comparator circuit to activate the proper gear depending on throttle input and speed.

  • 0:47 nitro escape

  • electric start engines add more weight.

  • hey have you got a blueprint or something of that sort for this engine i would be happy to buy

  • ese motor es electrico

  • 0:36 what type of wheels are they and where did u get them :)

  • im a new rcer so wat kind of car should i get(im leaning towards buggy styles) thanks for the hep

  • yeah awright nitro ina a RC cool. i bet that the car explodes when you turned on, a classical way to sey bye bye to your rc hahahah just joking! but its really cool! :-)

  • a 4wd nitro version of the mini z monster would be awesome :D

  • don't get me wrong i like big trucks but that's a little much i think 1:18

  • lol the imagine spark plug size :DD

  • no spark plugs just glow plugs

  • what fuel mix do you use?

  • This one runs best at 15%

  • 15% what nitro oil

i have 2 cox engines and i neet to know what makes them run

what kind of oil nitro and methanol?

    pleas help me

  • Hey, use a mixture of 20-25% nitromethane, 20% castrol oil, and the rest methyl alchohol. This mixture is called 1/2A, you should be able to find it at a hobby store, but make sure it is CASTROL oil mixture, not synthetic, otherwise you're going to have to replace the engine.

  • i blended my own.

    it has 11-20% syntetic oil

    ans 20% wonder oil (castor)

    ans 20 5 nitro

this is a 010 cox engine and it is expencife

  • thanks i bougth one know were can i ifnd a body to put it on i wanr it to go left end rigth you know to make it an rc car pls tell me

  • Yes I can imagine! Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can! Really, I can. You only need a Rücklauflager and special machines to produce that- take a look how a pull start from nitro 1:10 is built like! It's not easy but it could do it, it could work.

  • i looked on ebay and i cant find it what should i write?

  • just searth cox

  • i have a .020

  • lol 0:37 and 1:18

    i like that

did u ever ride that bigfoot truck?

  • Has the engine got an electric start system?

  • Yes it does, you can see it at 1:07.

  • Can you imagine a pull-start on something that tiny? it makes me laugh just thinking about it

  • why a pull start? just push the button on an electric start and the engine is on, remotely even.

  • name of sound track??

  • The song is called, "it sucks, by nobody"

    xD

  • how much are they

  • Look on ebay, about $50 - $150 for the engine. You can try to use slot car gears and wheels for the drive.

  • 0:37

    LOL

  • o:37

    LOL

  • how to start your engine?

  • how much hp?

  • stock they should have bout 50watts of power---->about 0,08hp's

but they're anyways designed for airplanes

  • where did you get this information? I am curious. Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • mh-aerotools as well as different catalogues: this counts for the small 0.049 bee's... but there's different types of those

  • how much that cost, from where i can buy this rc engine ?

  • .010s arent made anymore, get them off ebay, they cost about 130 bucks new

  • Isn't that just a cox .049 ? Looks like the whole carb assembly is loose .

  • This is such an old engine, nothing new, just a lot of mess.

  • hi could you do a video of one of your vehicles moving

  • is that a gas leak i see?

  • yep it looks that way

  • 0:54 i would make sure it had a better seal agains the wood (it can make your engine run lean i think..) nice engine!

  • im impressed u got some skill boy

  • it is bubbling nitro fuel because the two stroke cox engine compresses the fuel to inject the fuel when the piston goes down

  • You are correct, the down stroke pressurizes the air/ fuel charge inside the crankcase then injects it and is also drawn up by vacuum and scavenging to fill the top cylinder. These engines and most small 2 strokes leak from the factory. This engine setup is equiped with a pressurized exhaust system which contributes to increased crankcase pressure, = more leakage. I have since installed a better fitting O ring on the exhaust manifold. Fuel injector is in the works next, I will post a video.

  • looks poorly made to me

  • cox engines are very good

  • Back in the day cox made great engines for a great price. Reliable, strong, affordable and easy to use, never mind the fact that they made the smallest, most compact engines ever produced. What a shame they are gone.

  • where do I buy one? and how much

  • mmmaaadd!!!!!!!!!!

i'm making one but its a bit bigger. i only have a .12 engine.but i am going to make it as small as posible. thanks for inspiration.

  • it looks cool but there is nothing i can put it into lol so there is no point its nice though

  • My intention was to sell these to people who have an interest in 1/24, 1/25 scale models. They are everywhere even today, most stores carry a large assortment of this size model. Back to the drawing board for me.

  • oh ok i love 1/32 scale cars ive got a farrarie (cant spell sorry) f430 with a light kit lol and i got a evo 8 what i got from asda! lol!!! ill have to do a vid of my cars i only got 4 and 3 are cheap but i love them lol

  • Its losing oil?

  • yeah im kinda wondering whats bubbling.

  • were can i buy one?

  • I found three on ebay today. They are not cheap.

  • Ebay

  • is that first model car a 67 shelby gt500

  • Yes it is. I love that car.

  • does it come with steering columns? and is it possible to make a normal built model and strap that in without having to do something that will totaly screw it up?

  • i have 1 of these engines but i have no clue how to use it lol

  • looks like something i would smoke out of

  • it was cool until you put it on a monster truck :P

  • y not make a vid of them complete and running?

  • where do I buy it?

  • are they hard to get, and what mod do i have to do?

  • wow nice. whats that leaking from the support?

  • The leak is from the exhaust manifold gasket. At the time of this video I did not make a form fitted gasket, I simply used an o-ring. The cylinder is round and the back plate mount is flat and curved so the o-ring did not seat properly. I later cut the back of the gasket which stopped the leak.

  • I use to have a cox free flight heli with a tiny engine like that. The cylinder head was smaller than my thumb. It was from the late 70s if memory serves me right.

  • damn 1/24 scale that can fit in my mini-t with the right set of equipment anythings possible!!!!!!!!

  • thats freakin sick

  • i want one so bad haha..

  • Thanks for the temporary comment, it will be removed soon, but only after people have read it and have looked up your profile. I do have a pussy cat, a gray tiger but what does your comment have to do with my cat or this video of a vintage cox .010 engine. Yes this engine is small but very large in terms of power output when compared to other .010 size engines, oh wait, there are no other .010 engines in this world, or have ever been. Thanks again for the comment!!!

  • Can you make a throttle for a 0.02 pee wee?

  • Yes. Please look at my website. You can contact me from there. I make carbs for Tee Dee`s because they have a crank valve, but I can make you a back plate reed valve carb if that`s what you want.

  • when he was running it was leaking to the right

  • Thanks for the comment. The engine in this video is leaking, it is leaking past the exhaust manifold. I used a rubber O ring to seal the aluminum manifold to the engine body, there is less than a 16th of an inch of clearance to use as a shoulder for sealing against the manifold. This video is not from microsoft where everything works perfectly the first time, it is of a demonstration of a concept for controlling the worlds smallest engine. Later versions have the O ring cut to fit.

  • hey how much for the black beast of a truck and do these models run off of the cox .010

  • The models in this video are not for sale. I can make you one or more of your choosing. Either you supply the model and parts or I can get them for you. These run on electric or nitro (.010-.020 cox). Cox engines are a hot item on ebay, hard to find, expensive to buy. The cox .049 is still reasonable in price and available. .051 is better since it has a carb/ exhaust but is expensive. I can make them with the larger .049-.051 if realistic dimmension is not important to you, Or choose electric.

  • If you are one of the lucky owners of a cox tee dee or pee wee .010-.020 then you can submit your model request to me and I will make the model to your specifications. Sorry to take so long to reply to your question.

  • hey i like a exhast system for my cox .010 td how much will it be to make one like in the video? but no pipes i need it like a reguler rc plane engine muffler not stright pipe

  • Send me an email so I can show you some different configurations I can make for you and you can tell me what dimmensions you need. Price depending on style, about 40.

  • would you sell the whole transmission, carb etc?

  • where can i order one of these systems? or can you build an rtr kit?

  • looks like a cox .010 for 2ch r/c aircraft

  • very good carburator, the trottle is precise! you have some plans to built one? I want to buy some cox $7 .049 surestart and make a radial engine for a plane

  • You can use a carb from a cox .051. In this video I am demonstrating the cox .010.

  • those trucks are crap there oversised and look rubbish

  • The trucks are prototypes. The black truck is actually the correct size and scale of American monster trucks competing in the race circuit. The Grey truck was an example of size and weight versus power source, a tiny engine driving a ridiculously large load. After all these are just toys meant for fun and amusement.

  • yeah the tiny thing revs off the chart!!! but dose it hav the torke to move thoes monster trucks? or have you got a gear box with like loads ov gears

  • The grey truck has built in reduction in the rear end with a quick change setup in addition to the transmission, similar to the H1 trucks that have reduction at each wheel. The black truck uses only transmission reduction as do the cars.
