love san antonio. i live in LA and san antonio is the best city ive been to and by far the best in texas. only problem is that once you get out of the main city you are in the middle of nowhere with in 10 minutes.

San antonio urban area is larger than San Diego's, not sure about the 10 minute coment. maybe to the south in 20 minutes but to the west and northern areas you can drive for 45 minutes and still see city.

i'm not acutallly afraid of hights, a fraid of falling from heights, taht's another story, lol. but seriously i remember years ago when i wsa kid i got to go to the top floor of the sears tower in chitown. i was so high up, i literally saw clouds at eye level.

Hi dude hahaha do you remember telling me about a setting that prevents the juddering, was  it 1280x720. I see what you mean you do tend too zoom in and out quite a lot, I have the same problem on my HD videos, snappy judderry thing going on. I had not noticed it until you mentioned it ! in your PM ,now it annoys me hahaha.whats the secret of a smooth Hd video. tell me again, I am pretty thick hahahah. or is it something we are going to have too live with. cheers david.

Sorry I guess I messed up if I told you 1280x720 that gets you mid-screen. This was put up in 1920x1080 that gets you this screen and a smoother running vid!! For now!! I sure hope they fix that soon!! Thanks for dropping by!!  Duke

duke the dude. still enjoyed it,very much.I am watching this in europe, I don't know how you see it in Texas, but I am honest if I say that this end it was very choppy. I know yu did a great deal of pan zoom etc is that something thats contributing too the choppiness. Or do you in the states see this video smoth. It plays very smooth for me in this format but choppy in 1280x720 most of the time. Lets hope they fix it for all of us soon!!

It could be individual video cards in our computers causing the juddering, as well. Older cards may not be able to handle the higher format without changing the settings going to the monitor. However, I have to say this recent format works best for me, too.

Those buildings look so close to each other and almost looks like manhattan too congested and too many people, I need solitude and lots of acres of pure earth around me for peace of mind. Nice music and great view from that height, thanks for the share of San Antonio

Yes they are very close there. The streets are very small too. But there are very few big buildings for a city with so many people.(1,000,000+) If you drove for 20min from here you would not see a house for miles I will take you for a ride though the Texas Hill Country soon!! San Antonio is over 2 people million today and is the 7th largest U.S. city, and a top 20 something Metro area in the country. Downtown doesnt have a lot of skyscrapers just like Phoenix, most corporate office buildings are spread all over the city. You can drive 45 minutes and it would still be urban except if you drive south or east. The Tower is 750 feet to the anntanae, 622 feet to the roof and 550 to the restraunt.

Thanks allot!! I have two cameras. My number 1 is a Canon XL-A1 and a small Canon HV30. I shot this with the HV30 on a very lightweight tripod that I only put one leg down like a mono pod so I can move around and still get something pretty smooth. Have a Good One!! Duke
