Tata Pixel looks really great, but the gull-wing door is practical. How do you know some underground car park's roof isn't too low? So a sliding door would be more practical. There's no discernable windscreen wiper on that car either, so where is that when it's needed? I hope the start & go is much quicker in the real car than in that video.

I don't trust a lot to fully electronic drive control on a car, because all these small (especially portable) devices can be broken easily or their accumulators could be discharged at very uncomfortable moment. All electronic systems must be doubled (reserved) by mechanics. But in generally it's quite attractive concept. It's definitely step forward for "Tata" and for India.

I think this car looks legitimately cool. I'm not into the smart car and other very small ecoboxes but this has a very nice future look to it. It looks like Tata might be on the rise. I just wonder if Tata's are reliable??

Yeah, TATA cars are reliable according to my opinion. I own a TATA safari SUV in India and it hasn't has a single problem since I bought it back in 1999.

Tata Nano in India should be replaced by Tata pixel immediately. Unable to understand as to why an Indian product is launched in other countries before it is launched in india. Tata Nano though a marvelous car, is a little noisy, has no power steering, doors have to be banged shut.

@gopal23456789 Mainly because this isn't an Indian car, much like Jaguars and Land Rovers aren't Indian cars either. I believe this was designed/is in development at TMETC in Warwick, England! This car would also be considerably more expensive than the Nano which is not what India needs right now.
