  • great teaching!

  • Amazing lecture.I am a fluid power engineer and i was always confused about 3 phase supply and induction motors.hats off to Mr.Umanand for teaching a complicated subject in a easy and understandable way :)

  • u could show motors in easy presentation ,, gr8 work ,, keep t up ,,

    thnx ,,

  • the lecture is great ....... its very boring......other than that great work !!!! thank you

  • as @ACHamp35 mentioned before the induced current should com towards the viewer ,because one should use the apparent movement of the conducter in the RHR (rotor conductor is not moving) The LHR can only deliver a force in the direction of the rotating field if the current is in the direction of the viewer

  • nice style of teaching...

    thanks ..

  • 22:00 Sir flemings left hand should be used with Force as thumb, fore finger as field and middle finger as current ?

  • @AChamp35 : i used to memorize Flemings Rule by " My Ferrari Car "

thumb for MY and it represents Mechanical Force

fore finger for FERRARI and it represents Field

middle finger CAR and it represents Current :)

  • @AChamp35 I think he got the direction of the induced current backwards. If the rotation of B field is counterclockwise and the direction of the wire (from a viewpoint that its moving) is clockwise. Hence, using the righthand rule, the induced current should be out of the page. Then, the force exerted on the induced current should be in the counter-clockwise direction using the left hand rule.

  • What Tesla did was nothing news, many other scientist were able to send radio signal but only within short distances as Tesla did. Radio means only one thing: sending long distances radio transmission and Marconi was the only one capable of doing it. His first long distance radio transmission happened in 1895, well before the Tesla's radio short distance experiences of 1898. Marconi deserves hips of excuses for all the mud thrown against him.

  • @TributeToTesla The supreme court was not called upon to give a decision regarding the paternity of the radio invention and the judges never put in doubt the primacy and the originality of the first complete radio system built by Marconi, and they never stated that Tesla or others invented the radio and not Marconi 2) This what the judges said: “[…]Marconi's reputation as the man who first achieved successful radio transmission rests on his original patent” and “[..]

  • Simply superb lecture...

  • Thanks to Nikola Tesla for this great inventions! Tesla Serbian pride,

  • @TributeToTesla Thank to Prof. Galileo Ferraris for the invention. Tesla just stole the idea.

  • @Caleidus that's your opinion.

  • @Caleidus Yeah maybe Tesla stole 700 + patents from Galileo Ferraris ?!?! like Induction motor, Tesla coil, Alternating current etc...

  • @TributeToTesla There are guys today that have more than 1000 patents in thir CV, it doesn't mean that they are genius or that they are changed the history of science. Marconi has been subject to the most vicious, unfair, unfamous defamatory campaign by Tesla's supporters on the base of lies and non existing facts. Marconi didn't steal anything from Tesla, Tesla stole from Ferraris the idea and tried to get the paternity of the discovery through his 1915 autobiography. None remember Ferraris...

  • Most of us, think of Guglielmo Marconi as the father of radio, and Tesla is unknown for his work in radio. Marconi claimed all the first patents for radio, something originally developed by Tesla. Nikola Tesla tried to prove that he was the creator of radio but it wasn't until 1943, where Marconi's patents were deemed invalid; however, people still have no idea about Tesla's work with radio.

  • @Caleidus As early as 1892, Nikola Tesla created a basic design for radio. On November 8, 1898 he patented a radio controlled robot-boat. Tesla used this boat which was controlled by radio waves in the Electrical Exhibition in 1898, Madison Square Garden.

  • @Caleidus The United States Supreme Court, in 1943 held Marconi's most important patent invalid, recognizing Tesla's more significant contribution as the inventor of radio technology.

  • “[..] To find in 1943 that what Marconi did really did not promote the progress of science because it had been anticipated is more than a mirage of hindsight..

  • The lecture is good But its something that he is having VERBAL DIARHEA.
