Hey Bro, Gotta 1 Question - man, when descending or climbing, don't you have to enter ALT on mcp from FMC, (following Waypoint ALT's ) when flying whith VNAV? and when you entering it, have you just to enter it or also press the button right it...? PLZ Answer, ...
For some reason my autopilot will not control the planes altitude when I take off. No matter what I set the VS to, it continues to do a steep climb? Any ideas..?
@flightsimmer1234 Yes you can. In the US you select your approach pre-flight in Europe it is in-flight. But the PMDG 737 lets you select approach in flight
honestly we did a better more REALISTIC tutorial according to real word operations and checklists. TONS of mistakes in this video.. not really useful for advanced simmers...oh well!
According the Flow checklist during engine start up you only should have Hydralic Pump B switches on and A off. After start turn them all on. other than that nice vid!
Nice video, I have this problem perhaps you can help me, After I start the plane, the throttle doesn't seem to react, I can see the throttle levers move, but both engines just stay idle. Am I missing something into the start up procedure?
@Khazar01 What does your N1 read if it is not at 20 then your engines are not started correctly. Make sure you turn packs off during start iso valve open apu bleed on, apu running, and after 25% N2 turn fuel cutoff switches to run LOcated below throttle quadrant
LOVED IT AND THAT IS ONE SEXY PLANE/ADDON

Nice tutorial, though, all fuel pumps should be turned on during preflight.
TeamLeftMatch 1 month ago
You used the V2 speed for the preflight setup. Is this standard? I usually see pilots using the Vr speed and not the V2 speed.
jujumediazone 2 months ago
@jujumediazone VR indicates Rotation
V2 indicates Gear up
both are needed
i think

Nice tutorial
Flying the heavies solo is a real challenge, especially under harsh weather conditions.
That's why I enlist the help of a virtual co-pilot, so he can turn dials and flip commands for me on my voice commands.
Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" free Demo to see what I mean.
All you need is a headset with microphone, to experience the thrill of voice control :-))
