@ingalls20 I dunno man, with Treaty of westphalia and Advanced Arsenal cards, muskt have not the advantage of range for too long, and uhlans can make short work on canons.

I love german infantry, and sometimes the only artillery I use is the culverins, without enemy cannons my work is WAY easier.

Yeah yeah I know all that, any Asian civ can effectively beat the living shit out of Germans, but in my original post I was talking about native americans, and how hard it is to effectively counter germans and french with them.

But after the certain peak, the Germans can start endless Doppel spam packed with Needlers, which is beyond awesome. Their economy is the second best in game. Musketeurs in German army are not needed. If there were even some weak musketeurs avaible, they would be OP civ

German and French are OP in treaty games IMO.

Only Aztecs Turks and Germans can counter French´ FU units effectively in late game. Or do anyone have any hints?

it's easy. Rangers/Muskets on heavy infantry

Musketeers & Pikemen on Cavalry

Cavalry on Artillery

Then the artillery can be anti-unit, building, and other siege.

All the civilizations are equal. Just look at the Aztecs. They have No gunpowder, and no siege. they still kick ass.

I CAN kill off German´s Doppels and French´s Gendarmes, but wíth what cost? For example as Aztecs, its so damn hard to effectively counter German or French. They have BETTER economy and their units chop down any combos i have. Doppels are good against everything, from machehualitans to skull knights and buildings. Its so SO damn hard to kill 20 doppels backed up with skirmishers...

the germans are really good, especially their uhlans and their heavy sword mans, i like to use different waves of attack of them, and war wagons too to destroy them, then use the final blows of heavy mortars to destroy their town center

war wagons are rlly op, they attack 79 (79x2 vs cavalry and 79 x 3 vs artillery) when they are imperial and without cards o_O
