Cup probably cost a lot. I wonder how they purpose to supplement the cost of the cup to the people they sell it to.

Considering that the cup never moves and the resolution isn't great, I can think of at least five ways to get this effect. Four if you actually want to end up with liquid in the glass, and three if you want it to be drinkable.
