How did you lengthen the mast like thet?Just got a modified sail for my wave and its a few feet too tall so i wanna lengthen the mast.

the video itself is great, but I want to know what is wrong with your main sail height, isnt it too high?

@dumon13 looks like it has an taller mast so the sail is al litle higher up, not very good for the performance of the boat, but it gives an nice extra amount of comfort when tacking, it also give a better sight around the boat.

@markhelifreak I knew something was different on this boat, just didnt know what, dont you think it gives a little more pression on the stays? may be a dangerous tune if sailed on strong winds dont you think?

@dumon13 well that's possible, but the sail surface hasn't increased, there is only more top presure, kind of lever effect, so it might be dangerous with higer winds, more important is that the boat will capsize much easier. not a very good idea in my opninion,

@markhelifreak Dont you think that because its capacity to heel earlier on lower wind speeds it may have an advantage.

Because once a hull is off the water the boat starts to gain some speed, of course not too much heeling otherwise the hull that is off the water will be useless.

What do you think?
