Given the scale of the game world, if you say.. miss a dropship, are there vehicles that you can drive? Since, even if you're able to survive the journey, that looks like it's 10x larger than any Fallout hike. I'd hate to have to walk that.

Hmm.. the game looks excellent, and I'm a big MMO and FPS player and a huge fan of Borderlands and have all of their expansions.. but there is one thing that disturbs me.

Why did you chose "the chosen" as a name for an enemy race? I really hope this was an oversight but thats that name has serious real-world connotations. It means Jewish, as in "the chosen people".

This looks like an excellent game, and I don't get easily offended, but I'm sorry, this will probably be a deal killer, for me.

@darklol261 I'm willing to believe that this was an oversight and not intentional, so I'm open to fairness, but can you imagine how many times during gameplay that people will refer to "killing chosen people".

I'm just looking at it the way an MMO player would play/talk/shorthand ... and there will be plenty of words to play with beyond what we're talking about... adding things like "massacre", "wipe out", "genocide", "slaughter", "blown up", "gassed", "rounded up", "trained", etc..

Nope. Firefall is free to download and play. only cost are Micro transactions. That, however, only covers things like Cosmetics and such. Power can't be bought in this game.

Everything I saw looked great aside from some texture loading on the buildings.

As long as the enemies have a good AI, they require different tactics to efficiently defeat and the leveling is balanced correctly this game should be WIN.

Looking forward to trying this game out.

Ok more developers NEED to focus on what they say in the beginning. I cant believe NO ONE has made an action FPS MMO until now. I've been screaming about it for over 10 years. The market has BEEN ready longer than 2 decades. You don't need the snazzy graphics to make it so. I finally got fed up and went to school to make games myself. We need more stuff like this. Im so sick of the archaic click and wait crap. IMad? you bet I am and doing something about it. (btw this game is looking promising)

@Morkreth You're totally right. There's very few games with innovative gameplay, everything now is a copy of WoW's crappy (but succesful, for some reason) click and wait system. Which is okay, but when EVERY single game becomes like that it gets really boring. We need MMO's with action, like Firefall, Global Agenda, Vindictus and Continent of the Ninth... Can't companies see that WoW is not the only succesful game out there?

@Morkreth Tabula Rasa but that game got screwed because NCsoft wanted to use the TR servers for Aion so they killed TR. Tabula Rasa was fucking fantastic and this game is looking awesome. I've been waiting for another action FPS MMO and Firefall is going to be like drugs.
